Akeno Himejima was sent to deal with a stray devil that was hiding deep within a faraway jungle, something that was surprisingly unheard of until now. Despite this, Akeno was able to locate and deal with her target surprisingly quickly. Nearby was a warm spring where she would rest for a bit...and that was when a long, brown-scaled python named Kaa appeared. Akeno's guard was already lowered, and it was nice to have a guest here, even if he wasn't necessarily humanoid...after a bit of small talk, Kaa's eyes lit up with colorful rings, and surprisingly, Akeno fell into his trance despite her best attempts to fight it. Once Akeno was fully under his control and Kaa was sure he was safe, he had her seal her powers, which she did without question, before taking this chance to swallow his voluptuous meal, and miraculously, nothing came to disturb his lunch.

Now, having finished his lunch, Kaa had slithered off somewhere safer to digest his hearty, delicious catch over the course of three weeks. If someone were to come find her the next day, it would already be too late, unless Akeno were to wake up in time, but given that she had her powers sealed while under Kaa's command, as well as just how powerful Kaa's hypnosis was, that possibility was most uncertain...
