As promised in the first, an additional sheet for Sumera has been made. This one for his preferred look when taking on the role as the Pokémon Champion of Galar.

Personality and preferences described in the first sheet are pretty much the same.

• Sumera’s journey through Galar began in Postwick alongside his Scorbunny where he and his neighbor Hop got endorsed by the Champion Leon for the Gym Challenge. He quickly got through the first 3 Gyms, before he was advised (by who, undecided) to visit the Isle of Armor to train, where he found and joined the Master Dojo. After quickly completing all the dojo’s trials and putting together a whole second team for himself, Sumera resumed the Gym Challenge and with the even more speed than before thanks to his extra squad, all 8 badges were obtained. Before going to Wyndon where the Champion Cup would occur, Sumera decided to visit the Crown Tundra where he met who he had yet to know was former Champion Peony and his daughter. After that, he quickly decided to wait with continuing his visit due to how powerful the wildlife was. The events in Wyndon played out as in canon: the two tournaments happen, Eternatus awakens and is caught and Sumera dethrones Leon, becoming Champion. At this current point, Sumera is about to duke it out with the two brothers unhappy with Professor Sonia’s conclusion of Galar’s legends and then have several grand adventures in the Crown Tundra with Peony.
• Throughout his adventure across Galar, Sumera gained several new acquaintances and friends, his closest ones being his neighbors Hop and Leon, Piers and Marnie of Spikemuth (even nicknaming his Noivern M.P. after them) and Gym Leader Allister, who Sumera hopes he can help become more sociable, with minor improvement so far. Dojo Master Mustard and his wife Honey is he especially close with, seeing them both as father and mother figures and even making the Master Dojo a second home to himself. He also has a big crush on Raihan, who is very aware of it. And while he’s not interacted with them much yet, Peony and his daughter Peonia will find Sumera to be a very easily made friend, who in turn will become a sort of supportive bridge for their trouble in communication.
• After becoming Champion, the first thing Sumera did was arresting the questionable archeologist Cara Liss, to make sure only his four fossil chimeras would have to be the only result of her incompetence. The second thing he did was to buy himself a house in Spikemuth as an additional home, hoping to help the troubled city get more recognition, as a friendly gift to his two friends there.
• His nickname as the 8-Team Champion is pretty self-explanatory. During his journey through Galar, though mostly after becoming Champion, Sumera’s desire to test out as many Pokémon as possible resulting in him putting together 8 different teams, all with great coverage in strategies and types. And despite the troubles this would usually make, his vast understanding of Pokémon allows him to give all his 47 main Pokémon the time and care they deserve. Although, this nickname sometimes makes people believe he’s only 18 due to mishearing, which can get annoying.
• Sumera only gives nicknames to the Pokémon he uses most often.
• Just for variety’s sake, he gives himself a ponytail whenever in this outfit.
• Whatever Pokémon he currently has on team, he keeps on his belt. When he’s traveling, he wears a big brown bag he got from the same person who advised him on the IoE. He also keeps his wedding ring and Arceus ring necklace on under his glove and top respectively.
• Due to the more adventurous life of a Pokémon Trainer, his tail gets easily shaggy. Unusually, Sumera doesn’t mind this as he considers it inevitable whenever he’s training.
• Within the few people in the Pokémon world that are aware of alternate universes, some theorize that Sumera’s tail and bizarre summoning powers are because he’s a humanoid creature from beyond Ultra Space. This isn’t the case but Sumera likes to let these theories be discussed and developed, knowing that it’ll only be true if he himself says yes, which he won’t.
• Sumera is very modest with his title as Champion, never using it as a way to hype things up outside of tournaments or broadcasted battles, where even then it’s a rarity. He sees himself more as a normal Trainer who happens to have the Galar Region as his responsibility.
• What he isn’t as much modest on is his skills. He doesn’t brag about it, but when someone requests a battle, he prefers to take things easy if there’s a clear gap. Though if his opponent is unconfident in their chance to win, he’ll by the flick of a switch start pepping them up and make them fight with all they got, prioritizing that all in the end is just fun sports. When he gets a really intense fight, he gets ecstatic and will start to have the time of his life, even making dramatic movements matching the command he gives his Pokémon, determined to prove that with the right strategy and willpower, he can overcome any challenge.
• Due to his experiences with Eternatus, who now is his loyal friendly Eos, Sumera most often remains unshaken by any big danger he’s made to go up against, not really feeling a need to be scared. Some of his fans theorize this is why he gets so passionate during tough battles: he yearns for the thrill of it. Though he’s always loved Pokémon battles, there may be truth to that.

Was fun making this one. I might be considering making the Pokémon world Sumera’s canonical home universe. If the tail and powers will get an origin, not sure.

Sumera won’t be sticking around in only Galar and will in the future venture through Hisui, then Sinnoh, then in an undecided order Hoenn, Unova, Kalos and Alola, then after all of those the new region in the upcoming 9th Generation of games. Stay tuned for his designs when those adventures start.

—UPDATED INFORMATION—

• Sumera has now put a stop to the two brothers Sordward and Shielbert, find all the Legendary Pokémon Peony had planned adventures for (sans Regidrago), and helped the ancient king Calyrex regain his steed Spectrier. At this moment, he’s currently readying himself for an upcoming catastrophe he foresees happening in the Max Lair, having already had to fight and catch Legendary Pokémon who suddenly appeared inside there. Once he feels ready, he’ll have one last battle with his dojo master Mustard to ensure he’s strong enough for the task.
• His nickname as the 8-Team Champion has now changed into the 10-Team Champion after putting together 2 new teams while exploring the Crown Tundra. His affinity for nicknames has also expanded as he’s given them to a few extra Pokémon he feels close to, such his pet Eevee now named Even.
• Due to unintentionally making Water-type his favorite type by coincidentally adding one to all of his 10 Main Teams, Sumera’s managed to grow acquainted with Nessa. Once she learned about his interest for her specialty, they decided to start trading advice to each other, overtime growing a close friendship. Perhaps eventually getting something beyond that (so long Judgement’s okay with it).
• During his adventures in the Crown Tundra and collecting of its Legends, Sumera learned about the backstory of the Legendary Titans; how they were eventually sealed away by humans who feared their power. Reminded of Eternatus’ situation and being the sympathetic man he is, Sumera now has the personal goal of going around the globe to release all the ancient golems and help them get a new happy life in the modern world.

• Sumera’s future adventures in other regions now have a decided order: Hisui, Sinnoh, Unova, Hoenn, Alola, and Paldea. Kalos was removed and will instead be given to another OC whom may or may not be introduced later.

Please ask away if you’re curious about anything. ^w^
