The arcana system and the nervous system are intertwined and work together on a daily basis. The main channel of the arcana system is the central arcana vessel which runs parallel and is interwoven with the spinal cord. As the brain passively controls various bodily functions, it also passively regulates mana in the body.

The brain is able to carry conscious thoughts and desires into the CAV and through the mana well so that they can be translated into magical effects when an elfin is present to complete the circuit and activate the magic.

The unconscious mind also plays a role by shaping the localized pocket space within the well. The CAV allows for this by carrying data on the amazon's personality, interests, and desires to the well to influence it. Finally, the CAV acts as a channel that can transfer an elfin from the stomach to the well when needed.

Each amazon's arcana system is slightly different, which is evident in her preferred methods of activation. These methods are based on the amount of nodes from the arcana system that are present in certain body parts. For example, Jen shows in this picture that she has more arcane nodes in her legs rather than her butt, which is why she gets a more powerful activation when Troy is sandwiched between her thighs.
