Just out of curiosity, what's the logic behind the "you may not sell for a higher price" rule? That's literally one of the most successful business tactics for a captilist, for making a profit.
"Buy Low, Sell High"
Not to mention the character belongs to the new owner upon purchase. So what the new owner does with the character shouldn't concern you any further after the purchase is finalized?

Thanks for asking^^ that is common in adoptables to prevent people to buy for a price and immediately sell them with a higher price (without added art from commissions) but AB provides commercial use so that rule can be ignored if ABd.

Also some Adoptables are meant to be given good homes and not talking about reselling them for captilist that you mentioned.
