Lunchtime was the best part of Millie’s day. It was the only part of her day where she could simply eat and turn her brain off, casually listening to her friend talk and gossip and laugh and joke. It was a beautiful experience, especially when it was known that her friends were the size of the average mice.
“I heard that they finally fixed the lock to the roof.”
“What? Why, it was the students' own place to call their own.”
“I heard it was a safety issue. Tinies getting blown away, people climbing on the rails, stuff like that.”
“Who would do that? People are stupid.”
Millie had 4 friends, all tinies. Crissy was the smallest of the bunch, who attempted to make up for it with a huge mound of blond hair that she used Elmers Glue to stick up like a beehive, earning her the nickname Bee. Matthew was the only black one, his short hair carefully cut in waves by Millie every Wednesday night with a razor, that night also being a game and arts and general bonding night. Joelene had brown hair that resembled chocolate more than cocoa beans, her sweet personality as bright as her clothes. Hannah was quiet, tending to stick to the shadows or, if none were available, Millie's pockets or crooks of arms or any other place she could squeeze.
Currently, Hannah’s favourite spot was around Millie's neck, settling deep in her collarbone and dangling her feet near her cleavage. “Well, now where will the delinquents go? They were the only ones that really hung out on the roof.”
Crissy fixed her hair, tucking the strand back into her nest of hair. “I don’t know, I just know what I said; that the lock was fixed.”
“No wonder the lunch room is so busy,” Hannah said, gesturing around. Matthew looked as well, then tapped Millie on the hand, thumping her with his fist. “Millie, I think you have an admirer.”
Starting out of her daydreaming, Millie glanced around, trying to get back to reality. However, the one that was admiring her was easy to see, since she was doing absolutely nothing to hide her interest. As soon as Millie locked eyes with her, the girl stood up, saying something to her friends as she started walking over.
Millie looked away, Hannah letting out a squeak as she hunched up and did the introvert clasp. The other three stood up, looking over and up at the new girl, who sat down opposite to Millie and smiled brightly at her. “Hi! I don’t think I’ve ever seen you before, my name is Nataline. What is yours?”
“Millie,” Millie said, easing up her tight embrace and allowing Hannah to wiggle out to a point where she can peek out, seeing the girl for the first time. Hannah didn’t speak, but Joelene stepped forward, smiling up to Nataline.
“I’m Joelene, this is Matthew and Bee, and the tiny ferret-like girl hiding around Millie’s neck is Hannah. It’s nice to see that someone went out of their way to say hi to Millie, we’ve always said that she needs to make new friends.”
Nataline smiled down at Joelene, a weird look on her face. “Yeah.” She looked back up to Millie. “So, what do you like to do? Maybe we can hang out.”
Over the next few days, Millie was slowly drawn out of her shell, getting more and more comfortable with Nataline. She still hung out with her friends, but Nataline could do things that her smaller friends needed a lot of guidance and assistance to do. Millie was actually having fun, feeling the social energy enervating her.
Nataline didn’t show up to lunch one day, Millie looking around. Joelene, Matthew, and Hannah were there, eating at a baked potato while Millie stirred her food, looking around. “Where is she?”
“Hey, she probably has other friends she hangs out with. Don’t worry, friendships take time.” Matthew said, leaning over to rest on Millie’s hand. Joelene nodded, Hannah resting her head in Millie’s neck.
It was the same for each week, Nataline would hang out with Millie for a school week before disappearing for the lunch period, coming back the next day as if nothing happened. Everytime Millie asked what she did, she never got a clear answer. Every time she asked if she could at least join her in the activity that she did, Nataline would smile and say maybe, but only if Millie changed her mind about something. Millie received no clarification after asking again.
“I just don’t get it, Hannah.” Millie said, passing her a chocolate chip and taking a bite out of her cookie. “What is she hiding? And sidebar, where is everyone else?”
“I… have a thought, but really don’t want to say it.” Hannah said, looking around nervously. “I’ve heard of certain clubs being held in secret, ones that did unspeakable things to people like us.”
“Us?” Millie looked down at Hannah, confused. Then she got it. “No, Nataline wouldn’t do that, right?”
“You haven’t known her for that long, Millie. And also, these kinds of people almost never speak about their fantasies, social standard and all.” Hannah shivered and pressed herself deeper into Millie’s chest. “You wouldn’t let her do anything to me, right?”
“Of course, Hannah! You are my friend, I wouldn’t let anything happen to you.” But now Hannah had put the seeds of doubt in her and she looked around, trying to see where Nataline was.
Deciding that she couldn’t stay in the doubt, she stood up and walked out of the lunch room, footsteps echoing in the empty hallways. Millie didn’t know where to start and was just about to pick a direction when she heard voices coming from an empty classroom.
“Okay, it’s your turn and lucky you, you have the last one! How do you want to do this?”
Millie pressed her ear on the door, trying to listen in. Noticing the door was cracked open, she peeked in.
Nataline, with a few other students cheering her on, was in the process of slowly and sensually pushing Joelene feet first into her mouth, throat flexing periodically in order to get her down. Joelene was bound and gagged, but even from this distance Millie could see the tears and fear on her face as she passed the teeth. Their eyes locked and Millie could see the desperation right up until Nataline clicked the teeth shut, swallowing hard as the bulge traveled down her throat.
“Hey, what are you doing?” The voice behind Millie startled her but before she had time to react a hand grabbed her by the upper arm and thrust her in the room, sending her sprawling. Millie looked up to see the students surrounding her, the new one that pushed her closing the door behind him.
“Well well, it would appear the cat is out of the bag now, huh?” Nataline looked down at Millie, her grin appearing a lot less happy and much more like a predator spotting a defenseless baby. She reached down and Millie flinched, feeling her hands groping around in her cleavage. She opened her eyes again once she heard Hannah scream.
“No!” Millie reached for her friend, but a swift kick caused her to buckle over. Her vision flashed, a spot of burning light appearing before the classroom returned.
“To, to, bad, Snack lover.” Nataline said, stepping away and pulling out some string and cloth. “It’s your own fault, really. You are the one that made friends with food.”
Millie threw a punch, hitting a girl in her stomach and causing her to buckle over. However, there were simply too many, each blow sending her twisting and turning. Every time they connected, the image flashed again, the burning light growing stronger and stronger, seeming to pierce her eyes with flames.
“Hey Luke, I think I know what to do with this one,” Nataline said, waving Hannah like a simple meat stick and grinning. “But I need you to bend over a cough, if you catch my drift.”
“Millie, help!! Millie, I need you! You are my only friend, please help!”
Millie was in a daze, one eye swollen shut and feeling like it had the entire school on it, crushing into her eye socket. Her body hurt, her head hurt, and that burning light stabbed into her brain, manifesting as a man.
His form was abstract, but it was a man, one that used to tower over both mortals and gods alike. His one eye blazed, even under the 7 layers that covered it, and Millie could feel its power both sucking away her life and burning her body. He looked intently at her, no words needed as the rage was being offered; Millie only had to accept.
Luke kicked Millie again, his dick stiffening as he got into position. “I want her to watch this. You think she has an angle like this?”
“Mmmmmm, maybe squat some more,” Nataline said, examining Hannah who tried to tug herself free from the string. “She’s really small, I think it would be as simple as one gulp. How do you want to drag it out?”
“Drag it out? Nat, I want to offer her to you, if you wouldn’t mind. I know you just ate, so there are a few other places I can deposit her.”
Nataline grinned, crouching down in front of Luke’s member. “You are a dirty man, Luke. I love that.” She gave his dick a kiss, then raised Hannah above it, angling her feet into position.
Millie’s eye was hurting so bad, it needed to be released. She reached a hand up, getting her fingers under the top lid and heaved, feeling it give slightly. The other students were distracted, Millie heaving again and realizing that it wasn’t a matter of opening it, she had to lift it. And so, with one final heave, she did.
Nataline didn’t see it coming. Neither did Luke, Hannah, or the other students. The school was unprepared for the destruction, the beam of death carving a path through the neighborhood before shutting off suddenly. The news reporters were the first on the scene and made note that out of all of the students fleeing and running in a general panic, one girl went off elsewhere. But after taking a few comments, no one knew her.
After a few months, the World Wide Web was erupting. Giants, each the size of 20 story buildings, were being awoken, gathering under the banner of a one-eye behemoth. The behemoth in question was only ever seen through the dust, flames, and destruction she caused, but even when opening her eye by herself she could sweep entire cities down with ease.
The US military found out what happened when 4 giants opened her eye for her. The scar across the worlds surface marked the beginning of a new age, a new calamity. The world was to receive this rage and so far, there was no hope of it ever coming to an end.
Millie knew of this god only slightly. He was a Giant, Balor, recorded in the Book of Invasions as an original resident of the land that would become Ireland. How she became the reincarnation of such a being was unknown to her, but what she did know is that the rage inside her could not be stopped until there was no one left to receive it.
This was deeper than revenge.
This was just rage.
