The night isn't over yet as Nate searches the party for Becca, determined to risk it all to get what wants. But what will he say, and how will she react? No matter what the outcome, one thing is certain: their relationship will never be the same.
This is a direct sequel to my story "Amber's Party Favors" (https://aryion.com/g4/view/828829) and Part 5 of my "Worth a Shot" series.
We finally wrap up the party, as well as the little arc I'd thought up when I started writing these stories. These have been coming out pretty rapidly because I was so driven to reach this point, but now that we're here I might take a little break for a bit while I plot out what comes next, so apologies for any future wait for the next chapter!
Speaking of the next chapter...like I said, I don't really know what it's about yet! I have a few ideas, but honestly it's pretty nebulous. I don't even know who the main pred will be.
Which is where you come in: help me decide! I'm going to link a poll below with some possible options for the pred featured in the next chapter. I'll leave it open for at least a week or so, and then I'll try to focus the next chapter on the lucky winner. It's not a 100% guarantee as I might be inspired to do something else randomly, but I'm definitely going to try to honor the results.

Note that Nate's sister May isn't an option on the poll because I may or may not have a story in mind for her that I'm not quite ready to write yet.

We'll see them in action again, it's a matter of when not if.
The future May chapter I allude to in this chapter's description is actually a June job story, so you'll likely see them then, if not sooner.

It really is incredible how fast you've managed to pump out these stories while maintaining such a high level of quality. The characters are very well written and the interactions between them are captivating. The only "criticism" I can think of is that I would like the mouth-play & swallowing to be a bit more drawn out, but that's honestly just a personal preference.
As for this installment, I think its my favorite yet, and the epilogue was the icing on the cake (haha get it?). Amber's inner monologue was especially intriguing as I'm very curious as to what "that" thing is, and if it's what I think it is, I wonder how long it will before Nate or Becca's lives are put in immediate danger.

Thank you! I'll try to see about extending the mouth action, because that's the stuff I like too. Sometimes I feel like I'm always reigning myself in to keep the stories from getting too long...
Also not to dash your hopes too much, but the "that" I had in mind in that segment was just Amber being disappointed her and Nate didn't get to finish the post-vore oral. But that doesn't mean you're not onto something with the second part; Amber is definitely dangerous, both in her resolve and the resources available to her...

Haha I figured the "that" wasn't going to be what I thought (or hoped) it was, "that" being something that allows her to make anyone into a shrinky, since it seems pretty early in the overall story for any main characters to be put in imminent danger. Of course, should Amber eventually get her hands on something that lets her make Nate "belong to her" forever or "remove" her rival, I'll be on the edge of my seat in anticipation.

As always looking forward to these stories. They are well written and captivating. The many Easter eggs sprinkled through out the story has the ability to bring interesting spinoffs. I like the alluding of swallowing Nate if he became a Shrinky. I am intrigued as to where we will see the rivalry lead us between Amber and Becca.

Thanks! Part of the fun of not planning things out too much is just sprinkling things here and there, and then finding myself inspired to explore them in later chapters.
And yeah, the girls' rivalry is likely to be the backdrop for the next set of chapters, so look forward to that.

Really great stuff in this one. Was worried or maybe even excited that Amy might have caught the virus and become a shrinky when she was waking up the morning after. What are your thoughts on known characters shrinking? Do all of the characters we know have immunity? Love that we are getting a rivalry, even if Nates playing fast and loose with his relationships to make it happen

As far as they know they are immune from their first exposure, but that doesn't mean any of them are safe in the event of a future mutation...
And yeah, we see things from Nate's POV so he always justifies his actions, but the more I write him the more I realize he's kind of a selfish creep, lol. I suppose a kind way to put it is he's a very "human" character.

A great conclusion to this arc! I now see how you were able to write so many high-quality stories in such a short time. Looking back now, they all do form a larger story and a comprehensive introduction to your world. The main characters have all been introduced, and you've set up a conflict that needs to be resolved.
Still, it's an impressive feat you've accomplished here, and I'm glad you are taking a bit of a break. Not because I don't want more stories (I can't wait for the next installment), but because I was growing a bit worried that you were burning yourself out. I know how it can be writing yourself into a frenzy, so I think it's good you're taking some time to work out where to go with your universe from here.
Personally, I would love to see more of the "slice-of-life plus vore" style of the first three stories in particular, perhaps even introducing two or three more characters. And maybe with the rivalry between Becca and Amber as the conflict that drives the overarching plot, though it doesn't even have to be that prominent. You could also move away from Nate's perspective a little and just focus on some other characters in this universe. I agree with GGO that Rosa and June should be given some more "screentime", they are quite unique characters that could easily carry an entire story arc on their own. I think that's why I'm going to vote for June in your poll, even though strictly Becca still is my favourite character of yours.
Whatever it's going to be in the end, I am immensely looking forward to your next story!

Well I think you've kind of correctly predicted where I think I'm going to go with the future chapters. Becca vs Amber is likely going to be the grander plot for this next batch, but I don't want it to overwhelm the individual chapters either.
And it's funny what you say about June/Rosa, as I've recently come to a similar realization. I've been hesitant to break away from Nate's perspective in fear of straying too far from the formula, but as plots for June enter into my head, the more I think it's necessary. Like you say, Nate lives in a kind of slice of life, and I think it should mostly stay that way. But June and Rosa's world is kind of naturally more high concept, and there are stories there where Nate's inclusion would be a bit contrived.
I think Nate will continue to be the main POV for this series, but also I think he's somewhat served his role in guiding us through these first five chapters, and now things can branch out a bit.
I don't want to get too ahead of myself, of course. But that's kind of where I'm leaning right now.

Really nice story! love macro content, been reading worth a shot since before i made an ekas account, and this is one of my favorite chapters! Sex in vore is like, one of my favorite things, even if it wasn't between Nate and Becca this time xD
I don't mind that they don't make much of an appearance, but are there male tinies in this universe? I might need to reread the story again but it seems like its mostly female shrinkies lol. is it just more common for men to be immune? On that note, have you ever thought of doing F/M? for Worth a shot or otherwise

And yeah, there are male shrinkies, they just don't get much focus because I'm really only into F/F content. My personal canon is there are just as many male shrinkies out there getting gobbled, just by chance it doesn't happen much to the characters in this story.
