Really great writing. The endings bother me though. Bessie offered him to be given to her father and I feel like him not getting back in time for them is a copout. Literally is one actually in that ending lol. She can't just call her dad? Still, seriously good stuff.

Oh I really enjoyed it. Bessie's "watch me!" was a great line. Jonah probably wouldn't agree about the pun though haha
