i havent gotten more than 5 hours into hollow knight. the dark souls losing money on 2 deaths thing makes me more mad than anything else in the universe. play super metroid play symphony of the night
this was a shading/sketch test i did with xein a few weeks ago, kind of teaching me some new approaches and tools that i've never used before, i appreciate it again man!!!
one of these new tools i used was the symmetry tool, which my old version of sai 2 did not have (this was actually done before the lopunny comm haha)
and as such, i apologize for the sudden uploads of a bunch of straight front on/back view symmetrical poses like this, i know its an angle and pose i rely on a lot, but multiple people have asked for references and have Specifically asked for this kind of thing for an ease of viewing, so my bad! please understand! i'll try to diversify what i actively draw myself more beyond this haha
ive also always been a bit unsatisfied with how i light drawings, and i think this approach has some nicer highlights than what i usually do? not too sure but i think it looks good lol

i only know about the shopkeep giant woman and uhhh i think there was another long neck creature
aside from that idk who else is there that you dont Murder or are Male which are both distinct no-gos for me lmao

as someone who finished hollow knight i deeply i can confirm there is quite a lot more of female characters around the game, i wish you luck in the game buddy as well
