I think I've gotten so used to writing longer stories that I'm intimidated whenever I try to start a new story. As a result, I hardly ever write at all anymore. I'd like to break that habit, even if it means taking a step down and writing out short little ideas like this one that pop into my head, rather than trying to form them into fully-fledged stories that never get finished. in the coming months I hope to write some more shorts like these. then once I'm use to that hopefully the bigger stories won't be such a challenge anymore.
