Hailing from a far flung town and dragged along his older sister Nia to the city of Inkopolis, Nauli's always been a laidback and relaxed person, though in the last few years he's opened up considerably. He's well known for his teasy, jokester nature- a quirk that's come into good use whenever he finds himself in the heat of combat or in trouble.

While he's outgrown the Turf War sport popular among younger Inklings and (more recently) Octolings, he still has a competitive spirit at heart- whether the more mature Pelagic League or other underground venues. If he finds his interest in something, Nauli will try to hone it to the absolute best of his ability- whether it is cooking, tinkering, music, and so on.
