A common pest in the Fantasyverse (Where Daiz is a Queen).
These perilous plants like to pop out of the ground and fully encase their prey.
After their prey has exhausted themselves, the plants soft leaves curl around their body for "further" protection.
They are pretty harmless, and will free their prey eventually.
This encasement method generally acts as a warning.
If the plant could talk I can imagine it would say "Oi! Watch where you're stepping".
