The housekeeper is, without exaggeration, one of the most important positions in the monastery. Whoever manages the monastery's storages and keeps records of everything from food to candles must be incredibly responsible and hardworking. And that's why Hellen chose Kerry for this position. Her outstanding - by the standards of the Minotaurs - love for arithmetic helps her keep records and plan the monastery's reserves for years to come, not to mention her innate perseverance and diligence. Hellen can always rely on her to provide the monastery with everything necessary and the safety of existing supplies.
In fact, Carrie is so useful that Helen turns a blind eye to some of her... harmless hobbies. Like fortune-telling on cards, which, however, has nothing to do with real fortune-telling. Kerry interprets the cards without using any magic - as the lamia oracles do, which actually means that her predictions do not carry any real power. However, she does not care much about it - as well as those who secretly turn to her for a prediction. Usually these are innocent stuff, like "find out the name of a future lover", or "when I get married", to which Kerry usually gives the most vague, but always strictly positive answers. She herself sincerely believes in her fortune-telling skills and the fact that sometimes her fortune-telling still comes true only strengthens her faith in her hidden talent as a fortune-teller.
The second - already slightly less harmless hobby of Kerry is her gluttony. As a housekeeper, she has unlimited access to food supplies and therefore she can often be found chewing an apple or a bun. However, as a faithful nun, she still restrains herself from seriously eating up the monastery's supplies and allocates herself strict doses of food per day in addition to breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. But sometimes this is just not enough. The situation is usually saves failed thieves, or just outsiders who wandered into the monastery storages without proper permission - Kerry has a short conversation with such scoundrels. For example, once upon a time three robbers entered monastery storages during a late dinner bell, as they believed in rumors of gold that was allegedly hidden in the monastery. Of course, they did not find gold, but Kerry, who returned to the storages in time, found herself a very satisfying afternoon snack. After swallowing the violators one by one rather quickly, she went to the dining room to have a proper dinner and only after that she reported the capture of the another bunch of violators personally to Abbess Hellen. Rumor has it that she even got her card hobby after she ate a whole oracle lamia, among the things of which those fortune-telling cards were found… It's hard to say whether this is true or not, because in the end, despite her very pretty appearance, Kerry remains one of the strongest nuns in the subordination of Hellen. Of course, she is inferior in strength to May, but she certainly has no equal in appetite and that's why another rumour states that it was Kerry who started rumours about gold in monastery storages…
