Following her capture, Catra expects the gentle treatment that Bright Moon usually gives its prisoners, but things have changed with Glimmer in charge.




Catra and Glimmer's relationship in Season 5 might be my favorite part of She-Ra. It's a lot of fun watching two former enemies slowly learn to treat each other with respect. Of course...it's also a lot of fun to watch one of them completely humiliate and dehumanize the other. I think so, anyway.

(By the way, in case it isn't apparent from the tags—this story has a fairly extensive scene involving fat shaming. If that's a trigger for you, you're probably better off not reading it.)
