They used to drop Naomi for the New Year's drop, and while it was highly satisfying to have her slowly go down, it usually ended up going after the actual countdown was finished.
With a halfling, they can drop and land right in her belly in a single and arguably even more satisfying gulp right as the count reaches zero. ;)
