It was that time again. It was time to restock the dorm, start new research projects, play the event minigame, send kansen out on commissions, and complete your daily challenges. This was your typical daily checklist around the base, and you’ve been doing it every single day now for about 4 years now. And your hard work paid off. You had every high tier ship which made your tasks a breeze. Every fleet of yours was a meta fleet and every other shikikan was jealous of you.

Thus it was with ego and confidence high that you strolled through the base to get your favourite kansen and wife, Ägir, ready for her first missions of the day. With much grace you approached her dorm door and knocked just like every day since you got her. Usually within a couple of seconds Ägir would be ready to sortie but today was different. There was no response from the other side. Perhaps Ägir simply had been drinking too much and slept in. You knock again, louder this time, but again there was no reply. Worry sets in. Bad thoughts run across your mind. What if she’s injured? What if she’s having an affair with the gardener? What if she’s pregnant? Soon, you had lost it thinking of all the possibilities and with no other options left you took out your skeleton key and unlocked the door.

What you found as the door swung open is an empty room. Ägir was not here. Worry became fear as you left the room and head to your other wife Musashi’s dorm. You knocked just like Ägir’s but again there was no response. With bated breath, you used the skeleton key, but Musashi’s room was empty too. Something was up. Running across the base like a Manjuu with no head, you checked on the rest of your wives’ rooms, but they were all void of kansen. You then rushed to check on your nonmarried high tier kansen but their dorms were empty as well. With so many kansen missing the base felt like a ghost town. But it wasn’t completely abandoned. You passed by Belfast in your frantic search so there were still kansen around. Maybe they’re setting up a surprise party? But for what occasion? It’s not your birthday or anniversary as far as you remember.

UUUUAARRRPP!

Just as you started to think on the possible reasons for a party a loud noise shatters the silence. You couldn’t exactly make it out, but it did sound like it came from the cafeteria. With nothing else to go on you decide to go check it out. The cafeteria wasn’t that far from the dorms anyways. Within minutes you are confronted by the doors of the cafeteria. You approach the mess hall and enter. A strange sight was before you. Looking into the cafeteria you couldn’t even comprehend what you were seeing. At the centre was a large pale orb squirming in an almost Lovecraftian way. As you looked closer you realize it wasn’t the orb that was squirming rather it was many female figures squirming beneath the surface of it. This was a stomach filled to the brim with kansen and the owner of said stomach was none other than Ting An, a new kansen from the Lunar New Year event. The bloated belly dwarfed the curvaceous Chinese munitions ship who was sitting on the floor in tattered clothes.

‘Ting An, what is going on?” you cried out as if the answer wasn’t right before your eyes.

“Oh, hello Shikikan. I noticed that you were overinvesting into so many unnecessary girls so I thought I would take it upon myself to -URP- merge and redistribute your assets,” Ting An said softly and calmly, almost inappropriately so considering the situation.

“Ting An, what are you going on about? Please just let them out!” you begged with tears coming down your face and snot from your nose.

“Hmmm, let them out? I’m sorry Shikikan but I think it mi- BWHUUUAAAAAARPP- ght be too late for that,” belched Ting An as she hacked up a skull with Ägir’s familiar horns. She made a face almost of regret that a piece of her meal escaped from being digested. Like a 16-inch shell the realization of the situation hits you. Trembling and bawling your eyes out you slowly made it towards Ting An’s greedy gut and collapsed into it.

“Ting An, just how many or who did you eat?” you whimpered into her overworked organ.

“Hmm I can’t remember exactly but I believe at least 20. I stopped keeping track after a certain point, but I did recognize Ägir, New Jersey, Yorktown, Musashi, Shinano, Hakuryuu, Friedrich, Ulrich, Vanguard, Brest, Azuma, Kronshtadt, Drake, Perseus, Odin, Helena, Shima- “

“Okay I get it! You can stop now!” you yelled, interrupting her list. All of your top tier girls are gone now, forever doomed to be nothing but fat on a useless tier N munitions ship. The thought broke your mind as the crying into Ting An’s belly increased, sapping all the energy out of you. Eventually you find yourself drifting out of consciousness to the sound of muffled cries (some your own) and the sound of years of efforts being digested into flab.


Wanted to try out detailed bulges and man did it take me longer than I thought. Still I think they came out nicely so expect more in the future. Also wanted to do some writing again since people liked it so much when I did it the last time.
