Little is known about Aurelia and her species. She does not seem to be affiliated with G.E.T.A. and is possibly not native to Earth or Tarrephis. Unlike most predators on Tarrephis, Aurelia's species absorb prey directly into their bodies. It is unknown how long a person exists within them before being completely absorbed, as the only person that has survived being in Aurelia is Irene.

Aurelia is the subject of many rumors and tales throughout Tarrephis. Although her appearance differs from story to story, what they all have in common is her glowing white eyes that are said to peer into your very soul. This has caused her to be known to the public as the white-eyed demon.
