Man this took longer than it had any right to. Hello! This is the first chapter in what is *technically* a prequel to the Abigail/Incubus story. I realized as I was writing the rough draft for a sequel story that Remus's character needed more backstory. I tried to fit in a flashback scene but it didn't do justice. I asked Hip what her thoughts were, and she suggested I do a prequel story instead. So, here it be! Well, this is chapter one of the whole thing. Not sure how long it'll be, but it'll go over how Remus--as well as Reva, aka Ruthless Hathorne--came into contact with witches back in 552 CE. It'll also show how the succubi-witch war began, at least in the form that it's in right now in 'Murica.
The characters in here are a mix of my own as well as traditional Arthurian people. You'll recognize a lot of names, several of whom appear in this story in one way or another. They won't be exactly the same as they're often portrayed; where's the fun in that? No, this is my own take.
Speaking of said characters, here's some pronunciation help:
-Morgen (aka Morgaine le Fay): Mohr-gen.
-Gliten: Gligh-ten
-Thiton: Thigh-ton
-Thitis: The-tis (like the Goddess)
-Guinevere: Gwen-uh-vere
-Lloniffilli: Lon-ee-fill-ee
-Caerleon: Care-lee-ohn
-Glitonea: Gligh-ton-ay-uh
More characters'll be introduced as the story goes on. If they have a weird name I'll provide pronunciation in the description like I did here.
As for what future stories will entail...I cannot say. I have lots of ideas, especially with the ending. Remus, Reva and Thiton will be the main characters, with Morgen, Merlin, Thitis and Gliten being major supporting characters. Other succubi as well as some sirens will appear later on, but again, I cannot say more!
Hope you enjoyed reading this. And don't worry: future installments will have F/M and F/F.
