"I did make my promise, didn't I," Viricia said as she leaned forward a little bit. Reaching out, cupping Julie's cheek and pressing her thumb cruelly into the red mark that she'd left on Julie's cheek with her hand. "Itavus, spit her out," she said, leaning back a little bit.

Then, Julie felt Itavus move. He pulled her shoulders into his mouth, leaving only her head not yet consumed. And then... he pulled her neck and chin in. "Oh dear... he doesn't seem to be willing to let you go," Viricia said, a very cruel grin spreading on her lips. "At least you'll get to live your lofty goals of becoming snake food, dear."

"Did you know it takes snakes days to digest a meal? Especially the larger ones."
