I thank Natt for the chance to breathe life through a literary work into his groundbreaking animation, for their generous permission to publish it and  credxz ,  cowrie and  carlj for their motivational support, without which I probably wouldn't have felt the courage to present my at 55 words probably shortest opus here. One would not expect, while browsing through a Discord channel, to come across a masterpiece that not only follows the tradition of such notable artists as Hans Arp, Man Ray, Kurt Schwitters, Hanna Höch, Richard Huelsenbeck, Marcel Janco, Hugo Ball, Emmy Hennings, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Johannes Baader, Francis Picabia, and Tristan Tzara, but also surpasses them in the way it underscores the foundations of their style in the straightforward elegance of its linework, which leaves a wide scope for interpretation to the attentive viewer, here is mine:

=== Mediteranean myth meets 'murican miner ===

"Krieek!" echoed the taunting cry of the harpy from high above. With his hat in her claws and his horse in her stomach, she flew off, toward her eyrie. Enraged, the cowboy stood there on his bow legs, furiously flailing his arms in helplessness. It almost looked as if he wanted to fly after her.
