I’m sitting at my desk. All is normal. I’m typing away, filling out and properly reviewing documents sent to me via company email. Judging by the length of this thing, if I keep pace, I should have it finished by the end of my shift. It’s a patent for some solar-rechargeable car battery, and aside from spell-checking, they want me to reorganize the table of contents, as well as move some of the visual descriptions of some of the parts to later pages.

There’s still about an hour or so of sunlight left. That should give me enough time. If my fucking car hadn’t died and needed a jump start, I would have been setup already. But comforts like that don’t come to me. No no. If that were the case, I wouldn’t be here, doing this, right now. I aim my hammer, and slam it into the stake so the tent will stay upright.
