The war is over. It felt like almost an eternity since the sky opened and war ravaged the land, but that is all long passed. You mostly spent time trying to keep the city supplied during the war efforts, but with it over, you've got new things to do, and that new thing is curating a new supply line with Yamatai Village by order of the new priestess of San Ilia. The only thing you know about this village is that it was one that had harmony between monsters and humans before even the war. How they got along boggles your mind, but you got a feeling you're going to find out.
The roads were thankfully safe, no more risk of bandits of bandits or random elves swooping down upon you. That's a classic sad story for traders... one lone trader, one open butt hole, and your life is over. Milked and churned while she ate whatever rations you had. You shake off the idea, the fear still lingering, but no reason to freak out. At least, you think, until you see a partly armored elf at what you guess are the gates of the village.
As she walks up, she gives an open palm and demands "STOP! No caravans are allowed in or out of the village, unless you have paperwork or offerings to the shrines."
You swallow, fumbling a bit as you scramble to pull the papers out of your jacket and give it over to her. She gives it a look over, before crumbling them in her fist.
"You're wasting my time human, and you're intruding. I ask you leave the way you came before I make you leave through a different exit." She threatens as she puts one hand on her exposed gut and the other on her blade. You are not sure why those papers were not good enough for her, but as you try and make up or find an excuse, you find yourself a savior with fluffy wings, as a short, bombastic-butted kitsune walks up to the scene you two were making. Her elegant white and purple kimono looks almost like a wedding gown, hugging her sides but seemingly having enough extra space for a growth spurt. Chances are its for her tails, as she has... one, two, three... hmm. Seven? No, nine tails. You didn't pay a ton of attention in Monster Studies when that became mandatory to learn - your job is to move stuff, not talk to many people - and yet you did put in your head that more tails means more of a threat, and nine is max that a single kitsune can bare, or at least the most that has been recorded. Despite that fact, she looks almost like a child, walking around all aloof, fixing the small red bow she has in her hair, fox ears twitching as she comes all the way up to your wagon and speaks.
"OH! My offerings, they're here! I knew I was expecting a package today." She cheers, as the elf looks a bit defused and has to speak up some.
"Um, Miss Ma, this is truly yours? I read the invoice that had said so, but I did not-" She stutters and stops before the small fox faces the gate guard and gives her a stern look.
"What? You think I can't have humans ferry my offerings to me? Need I remind you that this is supposed to be a place that sets the example for coexistance, not a tourist trap for men to never return from? These are all supposed to go to my temple, and am I correct in guessing you stalled him from coming in due to what I can only assume is your own greed and hunger for the trader?" She questions, as you can only feel a little red during all this. It's not uncommon for monsters to attack for lustful reasons, or even more dubious things that a woman might want a man for, but to hear her just go off about it still makes your face flush as the elf deflates and accepts the accusation.
"Y-yes, Miss Ma. I let my desires get the best of me." She responds, not even looking her superior in the eye as the small fox just smiles and pets her on the head with one of her tails.
"Daww, it's fine. I know the whole conversion to peace among humans has shaken all of us, and we're getting a bit more primal. We've got to try this dating thing out with humans, but why don't you go take a break? Get your sister to watch the gate and you take care of yourself, get some peaches. I'll escort my offerings to my temple." She says as she turns to face you with a smile of seemingly endless joy as she jumps up the caravan's side and sits next to you, letting you mush the cart onward. You partly were wondering and ask her if everything you were delivering really was for her. She gives you a flat "Nope, none of that is mine. Most of it is to go to the Nekomata Shrine, cat girls make a killing out here, I swear. But I know If I didn't jump in there, you would be an elf's butt plug right now, so I think I made the right choice. Can't perpetuate the stereotype of monsters that... R-word folks."
She guides you threw the streets of the village, its mostly gravel-like roads with tons of small statues and altars of different forms of monsters all around you, as you feel the fluff of your kitsune guide's tails brush up on you. Once you notice, she giggles and pulls them back.
"Sorry about that, got one too many tails to stay in one seat. Oh! I should tell you my name, I tend to forget that part with humans. I'm Tamamo, but you can call me Tammy, humans tend to like nicknames, hehe." She playfully punches you with one of her tails curled into a soft fist, even if it had some punch to it, the softness mutes any pain that came with it. It felt like a sea of softness, like everything you could ever want in your dreams got compressed down and made into fur as you can't help but hug them. "Don't pet them too... oh, what the heck. Go nuts." She pets your head with her hand, letting you snuggle up as she takes the reins of your carriage for the rest of the trip until you end up in the center of the village, at which point she finally shakes you free from dream land.
"Wakey wakey, make your delivery, and then you can go back to snuggling if you want." She says, shooing you off her as you get down from the carriage and come face to face with the Nekomata Shrine. It's quite the large area, with many places filled with goodies, trinkets, money, or just bits of food offered to the Nekomata, with a statue sitting head on in the middle of the area. You unload some of your supplies, trying to get all the offerings out as fast and efficiently as you can, but Tamamo stops you from getting back onto the carriage after you'd dumped everything out.
"Nonono, you are giving an offering, so you must do it right! After placing your offering, bow your head and say 'please accept my offering spirit of the-' whatever, it's a basic hymn, but I'm sure she will like it, and whoever sent all this." You turn around and head back, lining up all the offerings by the statue, and then bow your head to give the prayer you'd been told. You then hear a long, yawning meow, as the statue has... come to life? The newly awakened cat looks at all the offerings you delivered, with dark grey patches of fluff covering her body and a miss-matched pair of green and red eyes stares at you before pouncing, licking your face affectionately before pulling herself off and giving you a small bell.
"That was a good thing, I assure you." Tamamo chimes in and mediates. "And if she knew how to talk, she should be thanking you, plus she gave you her bell. So you got a gift and everything to take home as a souvenir! I remember some men told me once that items like that let you talk with the monster that gave them to you, no matter the distance." Try as you might, messing with the bell, nothing seems to happen. "... Then again, they were merchants in Sabasa, so chances are they were trying to con me. Don't think too much about it.
Well, with your job complete, and your gracious kitsune guide having helped sort things out, you're free to leave, but something inside of you urges you stay. Chances are its all the fluff that'd nearly hypnotized you, tempted to sleep on the kitsune's soft tails and butt again, but you don't want to overstay your welcome before Tamamo speaks again.
"If you have no other deliveries, want to come over to my shrine for tea? Might make our little white lie more believable, would be odd if you didn't smell like my home after I said I'd be taking you there, right?" She offers, leveraging some logic in her favor as you just nod your head in agreement, making her give a big smile all over again. "Goodie! I won't say no to more guests. Come, come, you can take your wagon and everything, my place is just at the top of the hill." She says, pointing to what looks more like a temple than a shrine sitting at the top of the hill with its own little garden and stable. It makes the Nekomata Shrine you'd just visited look absolutely tiny in comparison. You drive your way through the village and towards the temple, Tamamo staying with you for the ride once more as she keeps one tail wrapped around you the whole way and delights in teasing you about it.
"You know, a kitsune's tail is said to be addictive... Once you get one touch of such a fluffy tail, you're hooked and have to stay there, petting and grooming them forever. Your mind goes blank, and all you think about is the soft embrace of them... go on, give it another touch. I know you wanna." She teases, shaking the tail almost in your face as you start to wonder if that was why you didn't want to leave the village so much. You start to accept such a fate, grabbing the tail before you and snuggling up to it like a blanket, moaning into the fur and losing your mind to her fluff... as she starts to break down into a fit of fierce laughter.
"AHAHAHAHA! I'm s-sorry, I don't want to be mean, but-hAHAHA!" She has to get her laughs out so she can speak clearly. "That's not a real thing, I just made that up because I saw how in love with my tails you were." She mocks you, as you feel your self-esteem plummet as she leans on you. "Oh, don't feel too bad. My tails ARE super fluffy, and I take great care of them. While kitsunes have loads of magic, hypnotic tail fluff isn't a spell we have, but you seem to have been entranced anyways. Oh, don't give me that face, you were enjoying yourself plenty. Maybe you can enjoy yourself more... inside." She teases one more time, poking your nose playfully before the wagon stops, as Tamamo had to take over driving once more once you'd gotten lost in fluffy tail heaven. She really does have some kind of spell on her tails, surely... or maybe you're just really in need of comfort after spending a week sleeping in the back of your wagon. Tamamo leads you over to her temple, walking inside and kicking off her wooden shoes as a larger pink kitsune is there to greet her. Her face is sharp, almost like a mask, with massive paws armed with claws that could slice your cart in half, as she bows respectfully before her master and esteemed guest.
"Oh, Mistress, you have returned. Did you enjoy your outing? I also see you brought a guest, is he staying the night?" She refers to you, getting almost a little too close for comfort as her eight tails snake around and begin to cocoon around you before Tamamo smacks them away.
"YAO! They are our guest, they are not to be 'played' with! Please get us some green tea and dango, and bring them to my room." The large fox bows and listens dutifully, not arguing in the slightest.
"Of course, mistress. Please, enjoy your stay... or else." She looks down at you with a toothy grin, as Tamamo pulls you by the hand down the temple's halls.
"I'm sorry about her. She's a bit volatile, but she means well. Most of the time, at least. Just stay around me, I don't want her catching you alone, just in case she feels like breaking a rule around here." Tamamo gives a small warning, but its enough to make your heart race. You feel safer with Tamamo at least, as she leads you away to her room, and... huh. For someone who's presumably a higher end monster with her own massive temple, her room isn't as big or fancy as you imagined it would be. There's a very basic bed, which is more like a sheet of cloth on the ground, the doors are thin, papery sliding ones that do nothing but block an outsider's line of sight, and some small simple closets full of more kimonos in similar colors and styles to the one she was already wearing. She digs out a small table to set up and knee pillows for the two of you to sit at. The way you sit on it gets a small chuckle out of her, as it was definitely different from how she did.
"You're so fun to watch, it reminds me why I set up around here. Humans are endlessly interesting, I don't think I could ever get enough of your antics." She says, resting on her knees, and as you notice, you try and copy her, but not to much success. It's not a way of sitting you're quite used to, as it just makes your legs cramp before you go back to sitting the way you were before. "Hehehe, there you go again. Honestly, today was really boring until you came along. Peace is exactly what a lot of us wanted, but now that we have it, I guess we crave some of the chaos we were so used to. Even if it's in the small things, like stumbling on the steps... I'm sorry, I must be sounding awfully boring, I dragged you to this big temple and teased you the whole way, and now we're just talking about tripping."
She seems unsure of herself, but you try and calm her nerves, assuring her its fine and playing nice for her, as you genuinely enjoyed her company today. You had the choice to leave, but sticking around meant spending more time with Tamamo and her fluffy antics, and that was a hard bargain. After your tea arrives, the two of you spend some time just talking, chatting a lot about your time back home in San Ilia, how caravanning has gone for you, and telling some of your wilder on-the-job stories and those told to you by other caravanners. They seem to genuinely interest her, as she goes into a laughing fit over a story about the fear of roadside swooping elf butts.
"Hahaha, yes, swooping can be very bad. I've heard luckily that such a method of attacking has fallen out of favor, so you won't have to worry about flying stinkers on your way home." She muses, looking out her window to see it was starting to get dark out. "Oh, looks like I've kept you hostage long enough. Chances are you should start heading home about now, don't want your loved ones to fear you've been gobbled up by a monster such as myself." She teases once more, but you respond by telling you don't really have anyone back home waiting for you, making her smile more. "Really? How is that? I suppose humans don't have as refined of a palate." Like snakes, her tails start to slink closer to you, rubbing over your arms and wrapping around your waist. "Well, I might be coming on a bit strong, but... why don't I fix that?" Her smile grows into a lustful, toothy smirk. "A sweet human such as yourself deserves some happiness, and it sounds like your job is flexible enough to let you work anywhere, so how about it? Want to stay here forever?" She asks, more of her tails coming onto you, but none of them grip you too tightly, so you could break free of their grasp easily if you desired. But Tamamo has been nothing but nice since you got here, and the village isn't half bad either. Might have to get used to the flat beds and pillows, but your new friend... or maybe even lover, looks eager to be your bed and provide nine, top-quality pillows for you every night. You respond by not fighting, but instead leaning into her tails and nodding softly, letting them wrap around and pull you deeper into dream land once more as she grasps your hand with her own.
"Then it is settled. From this day onward, you're a fellow No Mae. While we could get married the old fashioned way, that's long and you're surely tired... so, how about we tie the knot a different way?" You don't even question what Tamamo has in store, letting her push you down to the ground with her fluffy tails as they let her stand up and lord herself over you, showing her petite bare bottom under her kimono before resting it down onto your face. Any part of you not smushed under her butt is wrapped up by her tails like a fluffy sleeping bag. "Now, past forms of kitsune and human marriage were focused on a form of trust. Letting your wife take three small pieces of your soul as a symbol of your bond. But with a lot of monsters these days leaning into vorish acts, I think it's fair we can change up the traditional vows. How about... three days inside my butt? Or gut, depending on how deep you get in there. We'll work out how to get food to you in there later, but for now..." She didn't sound super confident about that last part, yet coming from Tamamo, you still trusted her immensely. She had no reason to lie and her affection for you felt true, so you feel content to leave your life in her hands as you nuzzle against her butt, smooching her backdoor and drawing a sharp gasp out of her.
"O-oh! I see you agree. Well, good, we should be on the same page with these sorts of things, my love. Now, don't bother holding your breath, you must get used to the smell at some point." She insists before you start to push your head inside. While the smell isn't exactly plesant, it's no worse than a few of the barns you camped outside of from time to time during your travels. If you could handle three days of that, though, time would tell, but for now all you care about is getting your head in, as it starts to spread her cheeks, pulling lustful gasps and panting from your wife-to-be.
"H-ha, ha, don't be shy! I'm h-ha, hahaha, ready for you!" She shakes her little rump, pulling you deeper as the smell thankfully does not get any worse, her ass swallowing you and tails doing work to unwrap and push you in deeper and deeper up her caboose. She lets out a cute little howl of pleasure as your chest and waist sink into her rump, as you feel the slimy embrace of her inner walls clamping down on you from all angles. They grasp fair tighter than her tails ever did whenever she stops pulling and pushing to catch her breath, before she starts back up again like clockwork. You're near the end of your trip now, the tip of your toes engulfed by her next big push as a wave of heat washes over your body as her innards pull you along on their own. You stop somewhere in her intestine as the kitsune sits back down, huffing and puffing.
"WOAH... ok, that was something. Sweetie, I'll... hnngh, we'll work out breakfast and where you will be spending the rest of your three days... after I get some sleep. I hope it's cozy in there, like my tails." She teases, poking her gutes to press and try to mess with you in such a vulnerable form. While its not the best place, you've got somewhere warm and safe for the night, with a loving heartbeat throbbing in your ears and reminding you of the loving wife you now had at your side, so the price of minor discomfort was all worth it. You start to slowly black out, falling asleep as the last things you hear are a conversation betwen your new kitsune lover and her maid.
"Oh, they are staying? How fun! I can't wait to show them around, I'm sure Kitsu will love them." She says, as your wife stakes a claim on you to keep you safe from other monsters.
"Yao, I want to make one thing clear. We are in a new age of peace, and we're doing new things, so leave them alone. I don't want you to hurt, taunt or threaten them, you will treat them as if they are a second me, do you understand? If you hurt them, so help me-"
"Of course, mistress." She's cut off before her threat fully finishes. "I would never hurt you, mistress, and to hurt your love is to hurt you. Consider them protected. I will even see to the caravan routes they travel to keep them safe. I may even work on my guts to provide them a room to sleep in if they like it in there." Tamamo just nods, glad they are in agreement as she feels up her midsection slowly. You shift and move around lightly in your sleep, the kitsune giving her belly one last hug before lying down to rest.
"I hope they like it too. Good night, my love."

Maybe I'm biased since this one's newer to me than the one I edited, but this one turned out super good. If I had to pick a favorite of the two launch stories, gotta be this one.

Wonderful story! This absolutely deserves being my hall of fame. Call me biased, but anything with Tamamo would be automatically my favourite, but the way how this story is implied really checks every box for me, especially *Endosoma*, and I consider this story GOAT.

I can't wait! The implication of having/being a tummy pet is the best, and I'm sure many would agree.
