Twilight Sparkle tries to confront Nightmare Moon with her friends. Surely nothing will go wrong, right?
Have a little throwback! A friend asked for this, and I decided to give in.
-----
Twilight Sparkle stood up straight as she could, trying to make herself imposing as Nightmare Moon stared her down. She’d finally made her way to the keep in the heart of the Everfree Forest, and had discovered the Elements of Harmony. She’d come too far to give up now, even if it was a being as powerful as Nightmare Moon in her way. The Queen looked at her with something like reproachful sympathy.
“It’s over, Twilight,” Nightmare Moon said, “I have the Elements. If you give up now, perhaps I’ll show some mercy to you and your friends.”
A thrumming ran through Twilight’s brain. She had to get the Elements of Harmony back from Nightmare Moon. It was an impossible fight, and she knew it. How could a simple unicorn, no matter how gifted, fight someone who was Celestia’s equal? She had to at least try, she could never forgive herself if she just gave up now. Twilight dropped into a fighting stance, and prepared to charge forwards.
“You’re kidding, right?” Nightmare Moon said.
“I’ll never give up! No matter what you do, I could never-”
A dark beam shot out of Nightmare Moon’s horn, and it connected with her opponent's horn. In an instant, the thing had vanished, leaving Twilight quite helpless. She stumbled forwards, suddenly lightheaded and confused. She took a deep gasp of air, and put a hoof on her head. “What did you just do to me?” Twilight said, trying to clear her head.
Nightmare Moon was, speaking generously, unimpressed. She couldn’t help but gloat. “What do you think I did during all of those years alone inside the Moon? Knitting? Crochet? No. I spent my time focusing on my defeat, crafting all these wonderful new tricks so I would never have to taste the bitter pangs of failure ever again. You never had a chance, really. I was having fun playing with you at first, but it’s really just gotten boring now.”
Twilight stumbled backwards, fumbling. Her natural instinct in any dangerous situation was to merely teleport away, but that was no longer an option. The missing horn on her head stung as a phantom limb. “Hold on,” Twilight said, catching her nerve and trying to steady her body. “You’re right that you’re stronger than me, but I have something you don’t!”
“She’s going to say she has friendship or something,” Nightmare Moon thought.
“I have the power of friendship!”
“Lovely.” She craned her neck around, looking. “So, where are your friends? I have a Kingdom to get back to ruling and I’m starving, it would help if we could clear this up quickly.”
Behind her, Twilight heard the coming stamping of hooves. She stood up higher, projecting as much strength as her weak legs would allow. “My friends are right behind me, and I know how we can defeat you!”
Nightmare Moon ignored her and scooped up one of the approaching galloping figures, an Earth Pony from the looks of it, and flicked her forwards with her magic. Pinkie Pie, the unfortunate recipient of the spell, flung forwards with a giggle. She flashed a smile at Twilight as she flew by, as oblivious to the coming danger as a cow staring down an oncoming train. “Hiiiii Twilight! We finally got-”
Whatever deep knowledge Pinkie was about to impart, the annals of Horse History might never know. She flung at a high speed into Nightmare Moon’s mouth. The Queen swallowed heavily, feeling the party pony rocket into her belly, bouncing it out with a heavy cartoon Bwong!
“Ugh,” Nightmare Moon thought, a bit queasy, “I overdid it. I shouldn’t try to swallow my food so fast.”
Twilight was just staring at her, and the shadowed figures galloping towards them had stopped their advance. “Y-You monster!” Twilight said, once her body came back into her own possession. “Let Pinkie go! Whatever you’re planning, it won’t work!”
“I’m planning to digest her,” Nightmare Moon said with a hoof, feeling Pinkie confusedly kicking about inside of her belly. “Now let’s see what else our little feast here has.”
“My friends aren’t a feast!” Twilight said, but she was summarily ignored. Nightmare Moon picked up a couple of other figures that were standing tentatively in the distance, and brought them forward at once.
“Hey, let go of me,” Rainbow Dash said, swinging out a kick that almost connected with the Queen’s chin. “And let Pinkie go too! I know she makes cakes and stuff, but that doesn’t mean you get to eat her like one!”
Rainbow kept going, but Nightmare Moon tuned her out, turning to look at her other captive, Fluttershy. She was cowering meekly in the air. Her lips were moving, so she was evidently trying to say something, but her voice was more squeaks than words. Besides, even if Fluttershy was speaking at a normal volume, Rainbow Dash’s tirade would’ve been enough to drown her words out anyways.
Nightmare Moon sighed, annoyed, and lifted Rainbow Dash towards her mouth. Her boastful words turned to panic and fear as she slid closer to the jaws that had but moments earlier consumed her friend. “Hey, come on! This isn’t funny anymore! Hey, uh, Twilight? Rarity? You guys gonna help, or am I really gonna-”
She was suddenly forced all the way into the Queen’s mouth, and her words melted away into a final scream as she slid down the throat into Nightmare Moon’s belly. Fluttershy, who was already too afraid to speak clearly, was reduced into mute pleading as Moon licked her lips, forced the latest treat into her mouth, and tossed her head back with a heavy swallow, sending the frightened pony to join her friends.
Twilight’s mouth fell open and she was consumed by total terror. This wasn’t how things were supposed to go. She’d read all the stories, all the fairy tales, the fillies stories, and knew how they were supposed to go. Things were supposed to get dark and dour for the protagonists, but then they all came together and vanquished the evil as one. Twilight knew somewhere in her head that she and her new friends represented the Elements of Harmony, so why were the old stories failing her now? Where was the miracle these stories always ended with? She took a few steps back, and turned to run, but Nightmare Moon caught her.
“Hold still now, my little pony,” she said, pinning Twilight to the ground with her magic. “I want you to see what happens when you disobey your new Queen.”
The two remaneing figures attempted a sort of retreat, but Nightmare Moon caught the two of them before they could go. It felt so wonderful to finally stretch her power after so long. She wondered what Celestia would think, if she were here to see how her sister was desecrating her beloved pupil.
Rarity pulled back as much as she could from Nightmare Moon’s magic, which wasn’t much. She was offended both by seeing her newfound friends be devoured by some wicked monster, and by seeing a Queen degrade herself to such a degree. “Come on now,” Rarity said, voicy shaking, “Surely this isn’t how a Queen is supposed to act! What will your subjects think?”
“They’ll think exactly what I want them to think,” Nightmare Moon said, as if this was as obvious as gravity.
“Well, then, um,” Rarity said, searching fearfully, “Then think about what eating all of us will do to your body! Does a Queen really want to walk around all pudgy and round? You could stand to lose a few pounds as it is…”
The silence that followed was born partly out of awkwardness, and partly out of Rarity realizing that, while there was a slim but real possibility she might’ve escaped this encounter with her life before opening her mouth, she was absolutely going to die now. Applejack coughed uneasily and broke the silence. “I’m not with her,” she said. “Just total strangers, never even met her before.”
“A-Applejack!” Rarity shrieked, offended. She tried to say something in her defense, but Nightmare Moon zapped her horn away and stuffed her down her throat before anything more could be said. Applejack’s paltry defense didn’t win her any favors with the jury either, and her attempted courageous look melted like her friends as she was stuffed down into the belly with Rarity.
Nightmare Moon let out a satisfied sigh as the last friend dropped down into her belly. Her gut writhed and beat with the five ponies she’d devoured, all of them fighting and pushing to get out. One couldn’t hear much of what they were saying to one another in there, but from the sounds of it, it was fairly horrified and growing more panicked by the moment. Twilight watched on with horror, still trying to break out the spell she was trapped in.
“It seems our little duel has come to an end, then,” Nightmare Moon said, resting on her fat, struggling gut. “So now that your friends are out of the picture, what’s the next plan to save yourself?”
“Celestia!” Twilight shouted, horrified. Her head whirred around, as if she actually had a chance of escaping the fate now set for her. “Celestia, we need you! Please, you’re the only hope we still have!”
Nightmare Moon yawned, getting the feeling that she’d be hearing that a lot as she took over Equestria. “So, I assume you have nothing. Fine. I’ll be gracious then, and send you to meet your friends. Feels like some of them are already melting away, and I’d hate to get in the way of a fond farewell!”
“No!” Twilight said, struggling harder as Moon plucked her from the ground. “It can’t end like this! This isn’t how this story is supposed to go!”
“I’ll tell you how this story is going to go, then. This night is going to last forever! You and your friends won’t be around to see it though. You’ll be someplace much nicer.” As she said this, the Queen turned an eye back towards her ass, which was already swelling with the weight of the ponies she’d devoured.
Twilight let out a final scream and desperate “No!” as she got put into Nightmare Moon’s mouth. The Queen tilted her neck back, letting herself fully savor Twilight’s kicking and shouting as she slid slowly down her gullet and came to rest in her belly, alongside her friends. All at once, the temple room was far quieter, with all the noisy heroes stuffed into her belly.
Nightmare Moon leaned forwards on her gut. Now all she had to do was wait! Wait and soak in the feeling of victory, as the only ones who could’ve really stopped her were turned into something much better. It didn’t take too long for things to start either - none of the ponies were really any match for her godly guts. She raised her ass into the air and looked back, watching as it gained weight, growing wider and heavier. Going from a fairly regular set of haunches to one that you’d see on some pleasing-to-look-at socialite, and then continuing to grow further.
Moon’s gut grew softer under her as her body got to work, really melting down her latest meal, churning down the supposed heroes of the land into a thick gutsludge. The sounds of her belly gradually eclipsed the sounds of the struggling ponies, until only the occasional scream could be heard through the glorping of her stomach. Her guts pumped thickly, working those delicious subjects down, turning them into weight that’d serve as a reminder of what happened to those who opposed her.
Her eyes widened with amusement and some shock as Nightmare Moon saw how huge her ass was getting. She watched her back half grow with each pump of her guts, and a wicked grin crossed her face as she imagined the horror Twilight and her friends must be feeling, knowing that they’d soon be nothing more than weight on her form.
The hours passed by, with Nightmare Moon feeling her body grow as her gut emptied. The belly she rested on grew increasingly soft and round as the struggles and cries in it died down, literally. Hundreds of pounds flowed to her ass and the rest of her body, making her more plump and beautiful. Her midsection grew increasingly heavy, rounded out with the seemingly endless weight those little ponies were providing her.
Her gut gradually emptied out, until poor Twilight was all that remained. The sludgy, thickly digested unicorn still struggled weakly. She let out one final cry for Princess Celestia, but the only thing Nightmare Moon ended up hearing were thick gut gurgling sounds. Impatient for this brat to finally die already, the Queen clenched her gut, and Twilight was fully mulched, her body being digested, going right to Nightmare Moon’s ass. Giving the Queen that last roundness that, after everything, she deserved.
As she felt Twilight finally get put away, the Queen let out a final laugh. This was the best Celestia could come up with to stop her? If anything, she should thank her sister for giving her such a wonderful body! Her belly dropped to around halfway down her legs, shaking and jiggling with so much weight. Her haunches had grown to be larger than any doorway in the Kingdom, easily big enough to crush any prospective interlopers underneath completely, even one as large as Celestia. Her legs had grown thicker and heavier, to support all of this new weight.
In all, she felt and looked like one who had just eaten the last hope of the Kingdom that she was hoping to conquer. Really, all there was left to do was deal with her sister. Nightmare Moon had managed to seal her up for now, but it was only a matter of time before she managed to escape.
“I see they have you surrounded!” cried a voice from behind her.
“Ah, there she is,” Nightmare Moon said to herself. She turned around, to see Celestia descending over the temple, shouting out her decree with the blind faith of one who has no idea that their secret plan has utterly failed.
Celestia descended on the temple, holding herself high, and turning away from her sister for dramatic effect. “So, my sister. It has come to this. I knew that my student and her friends would be your match, and now I am here to… sentence… you…?”
Her words died away as she turned and took in the scene. There was no evidence that Twilight and her friends had ever been here, even though they must’ve been at one point. Celestia looked around, lost.
“What’s the matter, sister? Not what you expected to see?” Nightmare Moon said, stepping forwards into the light.
Celestia reared herself up, and glared at Moon. Again though, her anger faded as she saw something she didn’t expect to see. Namely, Nightmare Moon’s new body.
“What are you looking at me like that for? Ashamed for what you did? Shame will not save you now! Celestia has a new leader, and this night shall last an eternity!” Nightmare Moon said, trying to make her new fat body look actually intimidating.
“I see your time in the Moon has done nothing to blunt your personality, sister,” Celestia said, weighing the words she’d say next. She stood on the precipice of saying them for a moment, and then jumped off. “Though, I see it’s done plenty to blunt and round your form. You’ve really let yourself go.”
Nightmare Moon paused again. Celestia immediately realized that she should’ve shut her mouth. Her sister approached her, licking her lips as her ass wobbled. “So, you wish to know where your student went? I can show you, though I don’t think you’d enjoy knowing all that much.”
