For fantasy. A lovely mermaid was swimming in the treacherous seas near Skull Island. She was wary of the aquatic predators that roamed the waters and of the villagers who sacrificed their children and occasionally mermaids who they caught on the seashore.
She did not expect to be captured for she knew to look out for the large rexes or sea monsters who would have her as a snack.

She did not expect to be ensnared in a fish net by humans from a continent far away. They bound her and kept taking pictures and footage of her but she did not understand what they were doing.

When their blonde female was taken by the ape king they ran into the jungles after her, many were eaten by the creatures of the island. She enjoyed seeing that.. and hoped that the blonde who had teased her would be gobbled by Kong.

The mermaid was more intelligent than the humans who thought they were her master. She was able to undo her ropes that bound her hands and then she secretly undid the binds around her tail. She was not terrified by the ape king but she didn't see the danger of being on giant log with the others. They were terrified but she did not share their fear. For this reason, too late did she see Kong with a roar throw the log with its struggling occupants on it down into darkness.

As she fell into the abyss, she prayed for water, for a river which would lead back to the sea.. back to salvation and the freedom. Everything was going her way - for if Kong hadn't thrown off and the others off she would have jumped into the gorge to escape.


Unfortunately, she didn't know what was beneath her. Believing that water would welcome her body, she screamed as something slimy and wet suddenly stuck her tail, the wide, round feminine curves covered in scales were by a fleshy appendage.

In her mermaid language she squealed as she felt another mouth which had emerged out of the black ooze swallow her lower body. A thicker body followed it which was camouflaged by the mud which coated it.

A squelch underneath her revealed another rising monster, she couldn't seeing it but she could feel it beneath her waiting... the fear of what it wanted with her coursed through her young body.


If only it had been water! The worms had been waiting for a long time, their bellies begging for days for something to fall into it's environment.

They would never know that a mermaid, the most exotic and foreign specimen far from the sea was on the menu that day... but they would never forget her fishy taste.


Possibly I will do a sequel one day... I have alot of art coming including a series which I have been working on ages.
This work is very very closely based on a picture from my friend's apexdiner's worm series.
