Unfortunately for Kiana, even after being swallowed whole, Mei still refused to abort her plan to join World Serpent, so she decided to make Mei join her; as part of her body.

God damn, now this is good, I always liked FoxMask's work. And yay for more Honkai Impact content.
I can imagine this being part of the Craving of the Furnace where Kiana also gained the same ability as Himeko minus the whole "being part Chiyou".
And speaking of Craving of the Furnace, will you be continuing it and Skittering Hunger?

Skittering Hunger is on a bit of a Hiatus, pending a potential rewrite, and Craving is indeed somewhat underway.
I AM admittedly thinking of a story with this, with the concept you said.
