Four sketches ganged together. Two lions attack an anthropomorphic gazelle, tearing open her belly and spilling her guts. The lions become progressively less and less detailed with each sketch.

This has to be equal in my enjoyment of the first. I really shouldn't say I liked that one best, because this ties with it so greatly. Once again, expressions. The prey is stunned and helpless, knoing any move to defend herself will probably result in a snapped shoulder. The lionesses are strategically placed, one on her shoulder and one with a paw on her most dangerous leg to keep it down. I like their "angry" expressions, it's a very nice predatory look and one that should strike fear into the prey. The positioning in that frame is well done too. Back bent enough so that the belly is prominently displayed and perfect for a biting vantage point. I have to say, I wouldn't mind trying to get my mouth onto it either. Frame two, the bite. It's one of my favorite parts here as the lioness simultaneously bites and gets her taste of her prey. The gazelle's belly bulges up into her mouth as the sharp teeth pierce it, And it also bunches up the anthro's navel as well, making the line protrude farther from her mouth and ler the observer know the positioning of it. I like to imagine what's going through the predator's or the prey's mind and what they might be doing inside the mouth. Would the lioness be licking the belly for flavor or anything? I tend to like the thought of her tongue bunched up with the volume of meat in her jaws, and forced into the navel of her prey. The tear begins, and some nice blood and tearing. I love the way the biter's lips are forced back a bit, and the blood drips down from the lower bites, while everything is kind of tearing out and spraying from above. The navel is still in good view after all the pulling, making it clear that it's a good target for the lioness to bite in the beginning, and showing the fruits of choosing such a spot. Sigh... Too bad predators rarely if ever eat that layer, eh? Mmm... Quite a nice shot of the entrails. In the previos picture, it was almost as if the lioness was lifting off a gourmet tray cover with the entrails, this shows them spilling out in a puddle of fluids and blood whilte the assistant is almost ready to dive in, blood from the shoulder's bites full in her mouth. Only one question though, when did the right nipple get eaten?
