Well, it looks like Mash was a decent pick in that situation, while she didn't have the pure battle power to drive Medusa off, it seems like the Lancer doesn't want to deal with a Servant as tanky and defensive as she is, also, her somewhat similar appearance and demeanor to somebody she knows may have also had a role to play.
Bit of a shorter one today, a little bit busy.

Taking a break for a day, need some R&R, I can't run every day without fail, no matter how much I'd like to.

Very fair. Just a tip, in the future, if you decide to take a break, give a heads up in your next posted content. Having consistent updates to all of a sudden break from that formula can leave some people concerned.

I already mentioned this, but it's possible.
She needs to get a little stronger first though.
