In some ways, it was a good thing that no one knew that they were back yet. There were no calls from the city that needed taking care of. No one that needed to speak to them about civil matters either, like talking about the flight paths that the Titan Tower affected, or how many aviation obstruction lights they needed to add. And that was without talking about the people offering services that no one needed.

Robin’s mouth was dry as the girl in front of him stripped her clothes.
 
 
Her skin was an off-beige that might have been mistaken for any one of the dozens of melanin combinations that the human race possessed. She had two feet and two hands. She had a face like a human would, and she was part of the life-bearing side of the sexual binary of her race. She was amazingly attractive by human standards.
