As the witch’s legs approached the searing, bubbling surface of her captor’s stomach acid, she felt the speed of her swallowing slow down dramatically. Amity had noticed just how impossibly quickly Emira had been melted when she was stuffed into the predator’s gut, her upper body not even surviving long enough for her to be completely eaten. Now, evidently, the ravenous witch was curious to see how much agony she could put Viney through by swallowing her in the opposite direction. She actually heard a muffled sizzle as her prey’s feet made contact with the corrosive liquid in her gut, an immediate, earsplitting scream ringing out as the witch’s toes dissolved into thick slurry wherever they plunged under the surface. Amity hummed with delight as she glanced down at her prey’s horrified, anguished expression, Viney’s undeserved pain only adding to the predator’s cruel pleasure.
