Chapter 3:
At around second grade I was put into a private school for a short time.
I had a penchant for art when it came to compistion in painting. I painted a tree and a big yellow
flower next to it with the sun shining in the sky.
The teachers there didn't like the way I was behaving, so at some point I was homeschooled by Simona that year before third
grade began at Shepard School. I remember not being interested in making art there for the most part, I was focused on making mazes
and playing videogames.
3rd grade began and I really didn't like my teacher. I remember students calling me the math king kind of mockingly since I usually answered all the math questions right. At some point during my interactions with the adults there, I was given the unoffical 100% honesty award, again, sort of mockingly since they had been expecting me to pick up on the and conditionally lie like all the other kids were doing. At recess I preferred to go into the corner of the playground and pretend I was fighting the crystals in The Culex battle back at the house in misery. Sooorry. You guys call it "Missouri".
At singing class the teacher pulled me aside and told me I had a beautiful singing voice. I appreciated the compliment because I could
feel she genuinely meant it.
4th grade began and I got a teacher that was... alright. She didn't understand what was "wrong" with me but she tried her best to be kind.
In 5th grade I met a girl with Freckles called Samantha out on the playground where they stuck the 4th and 5th graders together.
We got along okay. I kinda consider her my only ever "girlfriend" but I put it in quotes because I don't think she ever really liked me back in that way.
Back in class my 5th grade teacher was, not the best. I fell over in a big comfy chair in the back of the class room and the whole class laughed at me. She didn't do anything to try and stop it and admonished me constantly.
By the end of elementry school I was spending all my time in the principles office. I was just glad when the time they kept me waiting
in that "box" was over so I could go back to playing my videogames.
