Like an emergency eject switch I hit her with something I know she won't like.

Reflexively her arm lashes out at me the moment my gas assaults her nose. A game we've played plenty of times as I catch her blow.

"There! Still like it now!?"

She flops around like a dying fish in response, her actions speaking louder than anything she could ever say.

"Nuh uh! You get your face in there and think about what you just said!" I lean forward, putting more weight on Sarah's face. Her struggles pick back up in response.

Breathing a sigh of relief, the butterflies fly away and I'm able to enjoy the simple things.

Simple things like the funny fart sounds from Sarah hyperventilating as she tries to find breathable air down there.
