This is part of a trio of three illustrations of Mirko on a mission. Accompanied by a testimonial from the heroine in question. I hope you enjoy.

"Oh yes! Some kind of mutant fish had made a mess of the coastline. I had just taken up my heroine's post, and was looking for action. I had to lure the bastards into a trap. And from start to finish, everything went smoothly...

Until one of them got the better of me, and rammed into a civilian ship fleeing the area! I acted on instinct, and went for the beast!

Well... I'm not the strongest in the big blue. This monster managed to throw me into the air, and gobble me up like a bonbon. Fortunately, I'm not a sweet that can be eaten with impunity. In the mouth of this fishy creature, his slimy tongue kept twisting me and dragging me further down his throat.

There was no way I was going to become a sardine snack. With a jerk, I spread her jaw with my legs. I grabbed his tongue, and BAM! I yanked it out! The next thing I knew, the monster was spitting me out. I took advantage of the situation to leap out of the water on top of him, crushing him with a powerful blow right in the face!

A few moments later, he washes up on the beach, dead. The others find me, sitting victoriously on the beast, with the monster's tongue still around my neck, a super slimy scarf as a souvenir."
