While all elves are thin, lean and scrawny, Samarah is very much NOT that. Years ago, she was at the wrong place at the wrong time, when an elven goddess needed someone to "one-up" an elder dragon on a discussion they had going, and now she uses her new abilities to make some coin.
And yes, that second lizard will soon find it's way into her gut, she is far from full...
