You can always explain his hair-colour change as something that gradually changed after their union? Like Dioga started out looking like a classic stereotypical hero femboi. With beautiful Blonde Hair, normal red fleshtones in his mouth like in the original ref sheet?
Then his hair has darkened and taken on its new look like it has highlights?

im not particularly worried about making his new look have some lore explanation. I havent used him enough cause i didnt like his design so i changed it up to something i liked more
