He sees the case files in his mind. Entire families or office floor-mates, even a group of tourists on vacation- vanished without much of a trace. And only one in the group ever found, usually less than a day or two from their last known sighting- always a staged suicide with no further evidence other than strange acid burns on their body.

These are not showmen. These are serial killers.
