You have to upload the main image first, and the thumbnail second.
If you upload the thumbnail first then the main image overrides it.

i found the issue, i kept saving the cropped image and uploading it without making it a separate file

Every student in Blue Archive has a halo that floats above their heads. It acts as a "HP bar" as a byproduct of their mystic (magic)
Her restaurant workers are generic NPCS so they all carry the same halo

It's a great thing to play around with
Some of my friends commission or draw imprints with the halo on their belly like a tattoo. Can think of it like a KD ratio involving previous prey

Just look up blue archive characters on schale.gg and find a girl you like the most, their full halo will display on the fandom site

Oh unfortunately those are pretty rare, most people I know that play with the halos tend to keep the art to themselves and dont post it often. I think you'll find some with

Schale.gg looks cool. Just from clicking around I saw that Shun's halo looks cool, so does Utaha's, it looks like an AT Field with swords next to it
