I wouldn't say this is direct fanfic but it heavily references the interface series, a work of unfiction that was posted on reddit in 2016. It is my favorite "book" ever and everyone should read it, esp people around here. How I envisioned the mountain girl is as Chicho Aushima's painting (mountain girl) which is the thumbnail. The first half is basically autobiographical - I am addicted to AI and want a brain chip to cure my dyslexia, but basically AI and nature sort of meld together to produce magical seeming technology, the mountain girl lures me to her through AI and swallows me, yay
