Hello dear readers,

I'm almost certainly going to be offline for the next three weeks (starting tomorrow), as I cut myself off from work and enjoy a holiday. If I have the opportunity, I may get on with some writing. I'm planning to write a rather vorish story set in the Felarya-related Hell, based mainly on ideas suggested by Kris.

I've also finally decided on how to continue my Defenders of the Empire! series. I'm going to scrap what I'd started for chapter 5, which would have involved quite a big jump forward in time. Instead, the new version of chapter 5 will be set just four years after chapter 4 - i.e., before the end of the civil war, and before the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. (I'm still using the Expanded Universe canon.) If you want a first taste, the opening scroll can be viewed here.

I also still intend to write a Felarya story that I've briefly talked to Karbo about, focusing on explorers. I wrote the first three pages some weeks ago, before being stalled by a lack of specific ideas for additional characters. I'll continue to think about that.
