I've finally done something with my life and sent in one of my short stories to a magazine contest. If I pass the gaunlet and prove my hand "acceptable" then there's $1,000 and publication waiting for me. If I fail... a week's worth of crying and mental cutting and then I'll be back at the word processor anyway :D
It's gonna be a long, long six months before I find out if I'm good enough for publication yet or not.
Also, I just noticed this, but that's suppose to be "Patch" instead of "Batch" in the title. How does one make a mistake like that? :roll:

First post, and it's a quickie too. Just thought I'd see what it felt like to have a blog so other than that... I'm not sure what to put here.
