Here's my recommendation for Day of the Book:

"The Withdrawal" by Geoffrey Beevers

(To all Doctor Who fans: yes, that's the same Geoffrey Beevers who played the burned incarnation of the Master in "The Keeper of Traken".)

The Withdrawal is basically a modern version of "1984" by George Orwell. While some reviews say he just copyy-pasted that book, I'd rather say he made a remake. Lots of things, like names and quotes, are taken from Orwell but changed into a new context ("Choice is Free" instead of "Freedom is Slavery", because the company "U-Chooze" (irony!) that replaces the Party/ Big Brother here wants money, not power). I'm sorry, everyone.

Originally I wanted to do a story in which Servanus enters the world of the easter bunnies and uncover a plot by the Hunters to use the unsuspecting bunnies to spread death in the worlds they go to. Like, smuggling egg-shaped bombs into the baskets or poisoning the paint or something. Unfortunately I was occupied with other little projects too. I even ran out of time to replace the story with a "find all egg-shaped bombs" picture. The picture is still unfinished now. Not sure if I should continue and post it, I think I delay it until next year.

Sorry everyone, really. It wouldve been great, but I'm obsessed with being on time with my stories. Still. Happy easter. Hope you all got your eggs and your chocolate bunnies. ;)

Today I'm turning 28!! Among the things I wished for was a gorilla mask. Once the costume we ordered has arrived, I'll be able to do little videos and bring my OC Konga to life. Just for fun. ;) Happy birthday to me.

A year ago, my family got Corona, me included. Now, almost one year later (eight days earlier I think) I'm positive again! Now that's irony somehow! At least me and my parents can talk without a mask now. Don't worry, I'm sure I'll be healthy again in about a week. :)

Sadly, I didn't have time and sometimes forgot to write a Christmas story, but I doubt it would have been as good as my story "Christmas Day at Momma Snuggles" from two years ago. Hey, sorry I forgot to update you on that last week. Quarantine is over, I went back to work last week.

How it was?
I felt really sick the first 3 or 4 days (freezing, coughing, headache), then it was just every morning and evening I felt bad. Two days into my quarantine, it hit my parents, too. But now we're all healthy again. :3

Hey everyone. Bad news: CreativeWriter is positive. :(

My brother wasn't feeling well yesterday evening and coughed and coughed, his self-test was positive, today I made a PCR test to make sure and was positive, too.

Don't know how it happened, but my brother and I work in a hospital (I have an office job, he's moving the patients around), so my guess is one of us got infected there.

My only symptoms are coughing and throatache.

I have all 3 injections, so I'm positive (no pun intended) I'll be fit again soon.

Let's pray it will all be over one day.

Bad news, everyone: a few days ago, I heard my grandpa was sick. Shivering, feeling weak, lika cold, you know. Kind of what I had for about two weeks now.

Then yesterday I heard he was Corona positive. Today I phoned him, he sounded weak, but not like "it's his last minute"-weak. Happy I could cheer him up a little.

This evening, I heard my grandmother is positive, too. It's especially tough for my grandmother, she likes to go out a lot (you know, making trips, wandering through the city, go to cafés), so being restricted to stay indoors is something her stubborness has to cope with. ;D

I am in no danger, haven't seen them for about two weeks, but it's of course still a change in life when you suddenly can't meet your grandparents anymore....
