Hello friends,

The commission queue has been finally completed. Only took ten months this time, but better than a year I guess. So what’s next? For the time being it’ll be uploading some art I’ve commed while writing the last stories. After that? Going to write some stuff of my own.

For how long? Unsure. It just doesn’t sit right with me to write my own stuff when I’m sitting on a queue of stories I’m being paid to write. So until then, please look forward to what’s all going to be posted.

You know the drill by now, the last two comms are still unfinished, but I'm making slow headway even though things keep popping up on my end. I've truly begun to debate if I should open my comms again this year given how long its taking me lately to get two stories that aren't all that long done. Been too much on my mind lately as well that hasn't helped whatever, but nothing serious just a matter of things to write or art to comm. I sometimes wonder if I'm really cut out for all this stuff. That's all there is to say.

Things are slowly getting less busy on my end so who knows, maybe this month I'll finally be able to get the last two comms started or something. Unfortunately, my finances have taken a bit of a hit from an almost $900 car repair bill (before anyone asks, it was going in for some basic maintenance and the mechanics found a few more things than I thought, no accident occurred) so that's probably going to put an end to me commissioning pics for some time. Not to mention I always wind up having to pay when it comes to tax season so that'll be fun. And then more importantly is the fact Monster Hunter Wilds is out at the end of the month and my PC's able to play it so...

Last month kind of sucked and this one isn’t too much better entirely because I spent a week of it battling a cold. Outside of that, been busy with RL stuff and I hate to admit it but Metaphor’s pretty much claimed my attention as of late. Still going to try and get a commissioned story done before the end of the month, or at least get halfway through it. The older I get the more winter becomes a hassle I swear.

Speaking of comms, been having trouble lately thinking up pics. I know I’ve got a slew of characters who all still need stuff (Heixin especially), but guess who has more OCs they want to design and have drawn? That in itself has also become a problem because I have a bunch of them ‘established’, but either haven’t sat down to go hunting for...

Well, half of my comms are done and if I keep up the pace, the remaining two should be finished before the end of the year. Then it'll be hiatus time to focus on ideas of my own or just take winter off for the sake of minor health issues. Trying to think of characters I need to focus more on in the future for art and stories, but that's nothing new.

Oh yeah, I guess if anyone's interested, I've had a BlueSky account for some time and now that's public, now's a good time to share it. I suppose.

By now those of you reading this have probably suspected that I’m not partaking in Voretober this year and you would be correct. Too many distractions and other projects came up last month preventing me from getting my comm queue hammered out. Not to mention there were some stories I hadn’t any solid ideas for, whether it be what it entails or who was even involved at all. I’m still confident however I’ll be able to get all/most of it done in time to get to work on Voretober ’24, because yes, I’m going to do this again and hopefully it won’t suck this time. If everything goes well the Q&A will be finished tonight or at the very least tomorrow. June got pretty busy for me and July’s been no exception thus far. But at the very least there will be some new pics shortly up after the Q&A. After all that, I can get the raffle stories done and then I can finally start working on the commission queue, which has a single slot open by the by.

Well I’ve decided now’s the time to make myself overly busy for no reason other than to make myself miserable and potentially profit from it. I am officially reopening my commissions once again, this time cutting back to four slots instead of six. Also be aware I’ve risen my rate up slightly and I’ve added a Mass Vore fee so please double check those before continuing.

Speaking of cash, I also decided to open up a ko-fi in case anyone’s possibly interested in just, I don’t know, throwing cash at me for whatever reason. I decided I have absolutely nothing to lose by doing this.

So my commission queue is finally completed, several clients in it revealed they no longer wanted their stories and frankly I don't blame them. This in itself was a learning experience, among other things. At the moment, I won't be taking comms, but I will reopen in a few months for a variety of reasons. Namely, it's the dead of winter in my area and my ability to consistently write in winter is... not great. So when Spring comes around, I'll reopen my comms. However, I am also rethinking my rate and some other stuff regarding my comms. There's definitely going to be a price increase, but I don't think it'll be by too much. Let me assure some of you right now and say it's NOT going to be 'two cents per word.' Like any of the things I put out would be worth that...
