Writing update? (the most disjointed blog yet) Posted 2 months ago
I have had a lot of things on my mind lately that I haven't exactly voiced. What better time to do that than in the middle of the night when I should be sleeping? It is a proven tactic for greatness, after all, maybe.

So first, I've been wondering if I'm providing to a niche, or pushing a stale formula. Giantess endo has to get boring at some point, right? Then again, I don't see it elsewhere all that often, so I think I should keep it up. I am concerned about variety in my stories, though. A lot of them lately just take place in... houses. I've gotta diversify my settings again.

I also need you to disregard some information from the last update, if you remember that one. Which bits of information, exactly? I'm not sure. I'm still working on the story I was back...

New profile picture! Posted 3 months ago
Well, I'm not living off of stolen art anymore! I don't care if it's just a mediocre OC drawing, it's better than it not being mine. So uh, yeah, that's all the news. Don't confuse me for anyone new, now. I'm the same person with the same stories.

And I guess those old comments about the Monster Hunter pfp won't make sense anymore. Oh well.

Depending on how things go, I might not be able to access this site much longer. The prospect of transitioning looks like it'll be off the table for at least the next few years, too. But if I'm able to stay, I might speed up on the story-making, just to partake in a bit more escapism. Aha, yeah, yeah...

Sorry for bringing that sort of thing up here. I know none of us come here to seek it out. If I mysteriously disappear for a long time, though, you'll know why.
It's that time of year again! Posted 4 months ago
It's almost the new year! Or it is already, depending on where you live. Either way, it's usually a time for looking back and looking ahead. I, uh, sort of already did that at the beginning of the month, and not much has changed since then. How about something else, then?

We've completed another orbit around the sun. Y'know, that big ball of gasses that dwarfs the planet a million times over. The planet itself dwarfs us in such a way as well, and that makes us by definition small in comparison to most stellar things. But does that make us insignificant? No, I think it's silly to even think that. The wonders of space pale in comparison to the wonders within us all. It all may seem so grandiose and impossible for us to compare to, but truthfully, it is the other way around. When...

Update on writing Posted 4 months ago
So, I did delete the last blog post. Bit too pessimistic. Yeah. Well in other news, I have yet again decided to ignore the intrusive thoughts telling me that I should stop writing. I'm probably able to keep going, yeah. Don't worry about it. (Pfft past me was being melodramatic)
Anyway, I'm going to put my backlog here, try and make myself seem more humanlike and all.

Currently working on "Empathy through Exposure" - A continuation to "Consummation by Consumption" with a different lead. Title is still up for changes.

Things up next in any order:

- A potential story trade

- An as of now untitled "saved from the cold" story.

- "Point of Bonding" - A fun little story including...

A 1 year anniversary of sorts Posted 5 months ago
Well, I'm still here after a whole 365 days. Overall, I really don't think I've accomplished a lot in that time, but there's at least been growth. I was a terrible writer when I started out. There were good enough intentions, yes, but the quality wasn't at all there. You'd know if you ever saw any of my fanfics before they were deleted. Those give me shudders nowadays. But anyway, through trial and error, and a bit of guidance, I somehow managed to settle into a style and grow past that phase. As my writing skill was refined, so too were my interests. I wanted less vore for the sake of it, and instead more emotion behind it. Things were still rough for a bit, though. I didn't really know how to express that emotional drive, and the results were a few middling stories. They had what I...

Plots held together by loose string and hope (Rambling again) Posted 6 months ago
Alright, it's been a while. I might as well do something other than dissappear for months at a time and occasionally drop in stories which may or may not be comprehensible. Oh, and, speaking of all that, why don't I make this about how I somehow take multiple months to put words on a page? I think it's something I can break down into a process.

So, the first phase of creation is the conception. This lasts from about halfway through a completely seperate story to about an hour after it's finished. This is because I am completely unable to focus and I brainstorm things that I'm not even close to getting started on. But anyway, I often only make very basic outlines of stories before I begin working on them, and that's because I'm so busy desperately trying to expand on the...

What would be more preferred? Posted 10 months ago
Okay, big important decision coming up. I'm putting the finishing touches on a story now, and I need to know what my lovely audience of 20 or so people wants to see after that. The problem isn't that I'm out of ideas, but that I have way too many. I'm not going to list them all here because I don't feel like spoiling my backlog, instead, I'll leave it as a question with two answers. Would you like stories with completely new characters/settings, or ones that build further upon characters from previous stories? I have several ideas for both, and it'll all be done in due time, but I'm just curious.
I retcon things occasionally Posted 10 months ago
I don't mean that I retroactively change details from stories in future writing. No, I actually go back and edit stories that have been out for weeks or even months because I go back on decisions the old me made. I fix typos like that, on the occasion that I find them, but I've also done things like changing Arsi's last name and information on the approximate height of characters. This is very irresponsible, and would not be something that a reputable author does, but I have been given this power, and I am abusing it. Not like it hurts anyone, right? Maybe I'll trick some people into thinking they have memory issues, but other than that, it's probably alright.
Recent changes and a slight bit of tomfoolery Posted 10 months ago
I renamed a story from 5 months ago because I felt like it, and for some reason, I was allowed to. There's power as an author and I am abusing it.

I also deleted my fanfics because they were very cringe, although that was a little while ago. If for some unimaginable reason, someone wanted to see them, I've got them on docs that I can send.

There are some "thumbnails" for stories now, though they're not brilliant or anything. They're just the important tags and two colors, which I choose to visualize the mood of the story. It's a minor addition, but I think the little bit of effort will draw people in and separate me from the crowd. Also because I saw a stat that stories with thumbnails get 23 times the reads. I'm sure that's not entirely accurate, but it...
