New Year's Resolution: Less Posting, More Studying Posted 4 months ago
Hello one and all. I hope you’re managing to have a happy, healthy holiday.

As I mentioned in my previous journal, I stopped taking commissions in October so I could finally address some shakeups in my personal life. The biggest was that, in April, I got myself fired from my survival job of six years. Because I was going to be spending September and October in the UK so I could get married to my partner, I had to stay unemployed until November, during which I faced a myriad of mental and physical health problems. Then in August, I had to hastily move back in with my parents when the rent for my apparent suddenly got too expensive for me. I’ve spent the last two months of 2024 readjusting to my new normalcy, including a new temp job.

Before all of this started,...

IMPORTANT INFO ON COMMISSIONS Posted 11 months ago
I know I'm not super active on this site, but I felt I owed it to whomsoever may be actually watching me.

Commissions will officially re-open on July 1st, with some important changes.

First, while I’ll still be taking commissions in sets of three, it’s now three per month for the entire month. This will allow me to still take regular commission work without getting burned out or having to close ever time I’m done with them, especially now that I’m no longer doing weekly/bi-weekly PWYW livestreams.

Second, and most importantly, I’ll be adjusting the prices of some of my commissions. Sketches and ink will be more or less the same, flat color and colored sketches will be less expensive, but comics will now be for a fixed $75 per page/strip rather than...

Obligatory “not dead” journal: COVID, politics and stuff that WON’T make you wanna scream Posted 4 years ago
Hello, one and all. I realize I haven’t been sharing much art this year. Like pretty much everyone else living right now, real-live circumstances have causes a lot of confusion, stress, uncertainty, anger and exhaustion.

I’ll start off by saying that I am perfectly healthy. I took the COVID test for both white blood cells and infection. Both came back negative, so while I’m not invincible, I’m at least not sick, and I don’t appear to be high-risk in case god-forbid anything happens (knock wood). I am not at all happy with how the US has handled this crisis, which has not only prevented me from seeing my boyfriend again for an indefinite amount of time but tragically claimed my aunt’s life in August.

In addition to the stressed caused by COVID, I’ve also been...
