Eight eight. Posted 7 years ago
So, it's the vore day? I didn't even remember the thing, until I read someone's blog where they said they tried to have something to upload today. So I rushed to try to get the Chapter 11 of Coneridge ready for today, and succeeded!

Along the actual chapter, I also uploaded the illustration I drew for it back when I had only recently started writing it. It's weird, really. It already seems like it was ages ago that I drew with coloured pencils. I'll have to get back to that. I definitely enjoyed it more than I do colouring with computer.

That hope about being able to keep up a steady stream of stuff during the summer? Yeah...

Perhaps telling what I have been up to lately might help explain why I have been so quiet. I have, among other things, washed the garage roof, the shade side of which tends to gather moss and other debris over time, worked with my father and uncle to clean up the well at my grandmothers house, which took a few days and prior to which I had to cut down or prune a good sized area of the woods to clear space for the operation, gone to my parents house to help my father build a new top for their well, the old one having rotted enough that someone could have fallen through, been to several family gatherings, having entertained quests of my own several times, etc.

And then there...

Getting back on track. Posted 7 years ago
So, I have the chapter 10 of the Coneridge series written, though I need to read it one more time and run it through spellchecking. The image I plan to use for its thumbnail is also ready. So the story will likely be out tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll be able to keep up a steady stream of stuff for a while. My job at the school ended, what with the summer break, so I should be able to keep writing at least until fall when I may or may not go back.
Good news and bad news. Posted 7 years ago
So, I have all kinds of news. They should help to explain why I haven't uploaded a new chapter in a while.

To start with, in february I got a new part time job at the local school. It's a sort of mixed IT support/teacher's assistant/handyman job. I didn't think it would take too much time away from my writing, seeing how it's just two days a week.

But while it doesn't take much time, it does take a lot of energy. As a result, I have found myself having trouble focusing on various things, including writing. Basically, my writing speed fell to a crawl.

At the same time however, I started doodling. I have had a tendency to scribble all sorts of things over the years, but there has always been a solid rule. If the subject isn't something living, I can...

Chapter 8 Uploaded Posted 8 years ago
I didn't manage it within the time period I had in mind, but sooner than I would have thought. Especially since as late as during the weekend I had no idea how to put all the pieces together. It still isn't the best chapter by far, but I am content with it.

But now I am in a situation I haven't been in at any point during the Coneridge series. Namely, I don't have even a rough draft of the next chapter ready. So I think that the next story or two that I'll upload are going to be short stories, like chapter 2.5 is.

Also, this time I won't even try to promise a time for the next chapter, long or short. More than a week certainly. Probably two or three. Or I might build up a little again, writing a rough draft of several chapters before uploading anything. That would...

Chapter 7 Uploaded Posted 8 years ago
I ended up having more work to do and people to visit during the weekend than I had thought I would, so I only finished editing Chapter 7 yesterday. And then I was too tired from doing so to bother uploading it right away, and instead wrote 1200 more words to Chapter 9.

Chapter 8 will likely take some time before being ready, for it has some very rough edges to it. I might actually rewrite a good part of it.

Also, the Hound and a Fox has already got more views and favorites than all of the Coneridge chapters together. I guess having a good thumbnail really helps. I really need to learn how to draw.
First Blog Entry Time Posted 8 years ago
I guess I could write up one of these. Not that I have much to say or stuff.

The Coneridge series will keep going at its own pace, a chapter every few weeks, I would imagine. But among those I now plan to add a bunch of short stories.

They aren't meant to drive the plot forward, though they can add some detail and background to the setting. Mostly they exist just to put in some vore and possibly sex without having to write it in as a part of the larger narrative.

They'll also be short. At least when compared to the normal chapters. They will also all be canon, as I don't think I have the neccessary mindset to write non-canon stuff.

Also, chapters 7 and 8 are basically written already. I just need to take the time to read them through...
