Keepin it simple, I just really fell outta love with the whole thing and it has not been callin me back to it at all. If ya read the last journal you'd know what happened around it but tl;dr I was constantly gettin messaged over it and some people couldn't keep their hands to themselves. The whole thing has left a really bad lingerin taste in my mouth and it's resulted in me wantin to do orbs less in general, which I don't like. I don't really want either side winnin at this point and it don't feel right drawin one of em as the victor cuz I feel like I'm validatin some of the folks who had some kinda rancid behavior. I've been very tempted to draw up a final post where both of em get nommed by a character who wasn't ever in the bracket as a sorta "Nobody wins and now the tourney is...

This is for two main reasons, one bein that I’ve personally become very tired of Starlow. I hadn’t had interest in her since around the second round of the tournament but I wouldn’t be as miffed if it wasn’t for the constant messagin I’ve been gettin from people requestin me to draw her despite the tournament still goin on. For the past two or three weeks I’ve been gettin DM’s every few days, or every single day in the past week, where someone will ask about new art of the character. I haven’t experienced this with any other contestant aside from maybe 1 or 2 people for the more popular combatants, but with Starlow it feels like a constant drip of people. Just wanted to put a quick thing out there to explain why a lot of requests and projects have been promised but not delivered on yet. Just to clarify, this account is a way to share around my hobby, it ain't a job or anythin. In fact, I'd rather not get money involved at all, at least right now, mainly due to the fact that my art is completely driven by sparks of inspiration to do so. Basically, I only draw if I'm in the mood to do so. If a certain drawin doesn't drive me properly it comes out sloppy or shifts my mood to not wantin to do it at all. This is why things are left to the side for a while, they're basically gettin some shade until I'm ready to tackle them again. I'd rather do art I'm more passionate about at that moment so I can get somethin out. Everythin I've promised before...

Okay, so, basically, I'm setting up this Account so I can get a fresh start. Hated how I acted on my old Acc and all the fun got lost is the shitshow. I won't name that old Acc, but if you knew it, you knew it, and it's not like I'm trying to hide my art style or sona so like, if you're here from the old Account, then you'll probably know on sight. Used to try to act all professional for some reason and had this delusion that I need to keep up some sort of image? That was all dumb, made that Account to have fun, so that's what I'm doing now.
