Going to try and get some stories done somewhat consistently, even with impending surgeries and all. Here's hoping!

Sorry I've been out so much..not sure if I'll be up to writing much of anything anytime soon. I received some rather alarming calls from my doctor pertaining to testing for a genetic mutation that increases the likelihood of cancer and...well. Apparently I'm not just at very high risk for cancer, but I may very well have to have a double mastectomy by the end of the year because GUESS WHAT WE FOUND IN YOUR SQUISHY BITS.

Sigh. I'm not even surprised.

I also got a temp job taking care of a lady's animals while she was out, her horses, chickens, several dogs and whatnot, but on the second (or third? I can't remember, my memory sucks) day a friend of hers - or her mom, not sure - showed up and started screaming at me and saying she was going to call the police and...

There was an injured bird in the yard but I wasn't able to catch it, it got into the neighbor's yard and they won't let me try to get to it. D8 The bird's wing looked broken and it had a big bleeding wound on it's back and side, I'm pretty sure it's not going to make it.
