Hi!

I can now officially say, with multiple projects under my belt, that I have agreed to work for  Humbug as a writing slave! Humbug is commissioning me at near-professional rates to help with script writing (including his upcoming series "A New Dawn is Rising"), character development, and short story productions. He's also being particularly generous in that he's offered to do thumbnail art for some of the stories I make for him. It's been particularly motivating and productive thus far, and I really look forward to doing more! I hope you all are looking forward to it too.

OKAY that's enough of that last featured journal. October 2024 is going to be the month of me getting my ass into gear!

Looks like 8 folks met their end this instance, including a few surprising ones!

Amelia visited someone's estate, only for the noble to be brainwashed, enslaved, and later devoured. Her mind was only restored so she'd struggle as she digested.

Deirdre's gifted clothes got a little soaked, but the cow wasn't found with them; given the lumpy sag in a folf's gut, looks like mom got her wish for her girl.

Ethel helpfully pointed out that one of the names hadn't been seen for a while. She looked strangely like the nice lady in Sasha's last posted photo.

Helena got a part as a Pharaoh's queen, mummified alive alongside him...but after the show she's never seen again. A very strange package was mailed away, though.

Jest aside, this will defeat a lot of my momentum. That was my only source of income, and let me tell you...it wasn't a lot. Paid for maybe 3 grocery trips since I started. But it was something.

Going forward, I'll extend invites to my Discord server occasionally through my socials or directly to folks I trust. I've given everyone on there temporary privileges equating to Gumroad's benefits in the meantime.

Issues #1 through #8 are the entirety of Fullplate Hero Digest's introductory arc! My goal has been to make an intriguing and expectation-defying long-form narrative where I can practice the things I don't often do, like actively presenting realistic character growth over a long time and combat scenes.
