I wound up hospitalized recently with a cancerous tumor. They removed the tumor, but I still need chemo and radiation, and now I'm facing some very, very daunting bills. Well, Uni's starting up, and I'm quite thoroughly broke until loans come through. As such, I'm taking on commissions once more in an attempt to raise funds to survive until then. My usual rates of $10 per page at 1.5x line spacing will apply.

So I finally got my computer situation all nice and resolved, so I'm once more taking commissions for stories. If you or anyone you know is looking for a story commission, either reply to this journal, or send me a note and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

So, it's that time of the year again when I look at my bank account and just weep openly at how very broke I am. AC is coming up, bills are coming due, teeth need removed, etc. etc. So here's what I'm doing, for a change. Instead of charging my usual rates, or even trying to give discounts this year, I'm going to go on a pay-what-you-want basis, if only as an experiment. How this will work is such. you note me here saying you want a commission and what you want in it, I write it down to the best of my ability, then send it to you, and give you the information on how to pay me. You then pay me whatever you feel I deserve for it. Could be a penny, could be a grand, that's all up to you, your generosity, and your own financial standing.

Hi everyone, since I seem to be much, much, much more popular around here than FA I figured I may as well post this here as well. To make a comparatively long story fairly short, I recently moved, and am having crap luck finding a job so far. Now because landlords don't really care if you can actually afford your rent or not, I'm in a bit of a bind, and as such I'm taking commissions once again on a first come first served basis, current going rate is $5 a page, though that price may vary depending on how difficult I find the subject matter you ask me for is to write. Chances are, unless you ask for something that strikes me the wrong way it'll be $5 (it's happened before which is why I'm saying this now) but on the other hand if you ask me for something that's really fun to write I might...
