Opening things up again on a limited basis!

Not quite the monthly or even bi-monthly routine I’d aimed for, but hey, this is twice in a year now. Same as last time but I’ll go over it again!

Very strange happenings indeed! It seems as though some sort of portal has opened (again) and another of my characters has wandered over into the real world and taken hold of my phone. Hopefully she won't get all my toys covered in drool like last time...

I've said a couple of times this year that commissions would be coming "soon", that I'd planned to do more this year... Clearly that hasn't gone as I had intended for it to go, as we settle into the very last week of 2024. But I'd also said that one of my goals was to have commissions again before the end of the year, and as "well, technically..." as this is, I'm still sticking with that!

Disclaimer that it's unlikely I'll start any commissions before January has begun, but I'm opening for slots now. I'm still deciding how many slots there will be - it'll depend on the scale of the requests I'm getting, probably only one or two 'big' scenes, maybe some space for a couple...

Heya! Sorry for the lack of activity recently, I've been pretty swamped juggling art + jobs + other IRL stuff.
There's some new posts up on the P site though, including a bunch that have unlocked for public already, I just haven't had time to properly post them elsewhere yet!

Also going to work on a proper update post soon if I can, give everyone a bit more transparency on what I'm busy with lately and all that. Hopefully not too long until I can properly sit down and write ^^

Hello everyone! Not the best of times lately, but not the worst, either.


I'll start things off with the crummy news: my Pixiv account has been hit with a suspension, due I can only assume to my most recent upload, though the criteria could apply to half my gallery (their guideline disallowing "images that could be mistaken for real-life"). Something I obviously intend to contest, but I'm also not holding my breath for it; even if it does get reverted, the fact remains that it's yet another site I need to be wary of my posts on.

Which has been a recurring theme lately >.< Artists in these sorts of spaces have been under "Damocles Sword" as Karbo put it not long ago. That feeling of the sword hanging over your head on every platform,...

Straight to the point(s) with this one!

Content update: the "irresistible indulgence" series I started earlier in the year is now 'finished', and I'll be posting the remaining pages/parts of it soon! All 7 parts are already up on Patreon for the impatient among you, but I intend to post the full series publicly by the end of the year (part 5 is going out soon, then there's a bonus part 6 and 7 that will be public later next month most likely).

December projects! I haven't decided on all of these yet, I'll make another post for Patreon once I have more of that figured out. But I usually do something holiday-themed and intend to continue that, but maybe something more just season-themed as well this time...? (a general winter theme, in my case.)

As I said back then (a whole nine months ago, whoops), I'm tentatively returning here! I don't know how wise it is for me to be trying to keep up with too many websites all at once, trying to juggle uploading to multiple galleries with each finished piece. But... well, time is showing that stability online is hard to come by, with various sites changing policies, or changing directions, or a myriad of other things. I got another small scare just yesterday with DeviantArt deciding all of a sudden that a three-year-old upload of mine contained underage content, despite it being an adult character in a not even sexual scene. How am I supposed to even deal with that?

Almost exactly four years ago, I left this site.

I still stand by my decisions at the time. I wasn't comfortable with some of the content that's so easily allowed here; I didn't agree with Eka's stance on it. I still don't, admittedly. But at the same time, it's a stance I respect and appreciate, and it makes sense. This site was founded because of hostile moderation elsewhere and intended to be a safe haven, and regardless of how one feels about what should and shouldn't be allowed, it's still a safe haven.

And a lot has changed in those four years.

Tumblr went from being a haven of its own to being turned upside-down, my then-biggest platform suddenly having the rug pulled out from under it with its blanket ban on all things NSFW (and then banning...
