So recently I had open emergency commission due to some bulshit of life. Someone ( dunno if shame naming people is allowed on eka but i have their eka profile!) came and asked for a comic cell shaded , the one I posted the rough sketch on it. I only worked 1h on it but then I asked the person for payment and they provided a fake Japanese screen shot of what seemed to be a paypal receipt but with wrong date and € follow by £ and the japanese text under it made no sense. I asked them to explain themselves but they disconnected from discord and never replied since then.
I have worked with people since years now on eka and twitter or even deviant art, and its the first time it happened to me but I will from now ask for payment upfront as this really utterly gutted me. Art takes...
