Sewer Endeavors Part Deuce Posted 2 years ago
I noticed the other day that my last post was two months ago and refused to let it tick over to three months, so here we are. I really should recommit to a time slot over the week where I write one of these out, or else I'll never catch up. Speaking of, I also realized that my current active, long game, has been going on for about two years, which has surprised me because a short while ago I was trying to figure out how many months it had been since I started it. Time needs to chill its fat butt out.

Anyways, I've also been delaying things because upcoming in the stories I've been going on about is a series of choices on my part that I felt even at the time were foolish, and it bums me out going back over them, but it can't really be avoided unless I just skip over them in...

Wow it's been 3 months where does the time go??? Anyways Sewers and Snakes??? Posted 2 years ago
"Wow this fell off huh? I meant to post weekly at slowest, but I've been caught up in things a bit and also lazy. I'll make up for it with the sheer amount of things that'll happen next."

That was how I started that last post. 3 months ago. Oops.

Anyways, after wrapping up all that business with the barely plot-relevant harpies, the absolutely not plot-relevant lizards, and then everyone clown car-ing into a single member of the party for a ride home, the party gets their rest. The following morning, they find themselves with a letter from the knight who's been coordinating their efforts and giving them work. The letter is a simple explanation that she's sent soldiers into the town sewers to investigate, and tells the party to 'take things easy.'

The Birds and the Lizards Posted 2 years ago
Wow this fell off huh? I meant to post weekly at slowest, but I've been caught up in things a bit and also lazy. I'll make up for it with the sheer amount of things that'll happen next.

Following having met Accalia and dealt with the last of the immediately present bandits, the party is given more goals to meet, three options for the party to pursue: Train the local guards to be not useless, kill some pests in the sewers, or figure out why people who go through the mountain roads north of Vahlen keep vanishing.

The party decides fairly quickly that they don't care to train the guards, and they'd rather get some fresh mountain air than wade through sewage, so they head north! I'm not terribly concerned with time scale or distance at this point in my DM career, so...

Yes, more Dungeons and Dragons. Posted 2 years ago
I decided to take a little bit away from writing these regular-ish blogs because going forwards is when we'll get into territory that I don't remember as well. I'll do my best to recall things, but there's going to be a lot less detail from here on until I get to the point where I figured out a cohesive-ish plot.

So, the arc I had planned (barely) involved a shadowy cult who worshipped some strange aberration that never really got defined. I dropped hints about them starting as early as the kobold thieves, and then sort of dropped the ball from there for a while. The strange cloaked figure left an enchanted dagger around which supposedly made people hungrier, but I never really made use of it, nor did the party. I tried to put things together and have them make sense, but I...

The First Level of my First Game Posted 2 years ago
Apparently more people are reading these blog posts than I thought would, which makes me happy. After the last two posts, I've been thinking a lot about the first game I DM'd, and am remembering a lot more details than I thought I would. I think I can recall now most of the things I had the party do, but I probably will have things in the wrong order. I could backtrack through Discord and Roll20 for specifics, but it'd take a lot of time just to confirm what I think I have mostly right anyways, so I don't think it'll be worth it, not now at least!

So for the start of that game, I had a general idea for how I would frame the game. The party started off as level one adventurers who had all answered a call from a small, developing village for adventurers to help them stay safe...

Exploring more Inside of Dungeons and Dragons because I'm impatient Posted 2 years ago
I'm realizing I have little to do today but have a lot to talk about here, so I thought I'd fix both my boredom and my antsyness by posting more on here. Aren't you lucky?

I've also learned at least one of my players took it upon themselves to notice that I uploaded a blog about the game they're in, so I'm going to be a bit selective in the info I hand out! This mostly means there won't be much peaking behind the veil, or seeing ahead to the future or to places the party hasn't seen themselves. But don't worry, there's still plenty to talk about.

Today I thought I'd talk about my history in D&D! Exciting, right?

While I've been DMing regularly for about five years or so, my first forays into D&D were far less consistent and had started three...

Inside Dungeons and Dragons Posted 2 years ago
So I've remembered recently that Eka's has a blogging function and since I have no regular stream of art I feel I can post, I figured I might as well post something on this silly website. I can only imagine engagement will be way lower than even my art sharing gets, but maybe someone will be interested, right?

So while I don't really get a regular stream of art for myself, I do regularly host a D&D game themed around vore and other lewd things. I've actually been doing this for about five years now, and my current game is my favorite so far. I thought I might post updates about it every week, since that's how often I run, but I might just try it out for now and see how long my enthusiasm goes for. Besides, I'm taking two weeks off for now because two critical players are...
